I do get a sweet sensation when I steal a 'cowboy' vanguards kill, especially when they are charging. ;D

On the other hand if there's a good Vanguard, it's the best thing when seeing him charge a strong enemy to quickly warp the guy for him to trigger the explosion.

Only thing that anoys me in this regard is when some muppet keeps getting in my way and becomes more of a burden than a help. So many times I've seen people falling over each other for kills and it just ends up getting the group into trouble. To be honest I wish they would remove the kill counts it would probably minimise the issue.

I dont mind the guys that last hit. but I dont like vanguards/shot gun infiltrators/decoy engineers who leave the main group to max kills by the enemy spawn. thats not team tactics, its you being a d*ck.

not really i dont care about creds and exp and they are shared anyways, only times i have problems with it is when i cant touch anything from some human vanguard or when ppl dont let me finish my biotic combos because its no fun just staying there and doing nothing xD

I love it! Lets me move on to something else faster, and shows me a teammate is with me.

This isn't firefight where you are awarded cash for getting more kills, so why would I be?

causing the whole team to died on Gold is not fun.

Not so much kill stealing but making life more difficult for yourself yes. Playing on silver I would stasis 1 out of 6 guys in clear view and the team mate would hit the one in stasis it would then break the stasis and ruin the biotic combo whilst the other enemies start to put bullets in our face. In a way it's this insane rush to kill everything yourself as fast as possible that ruins other peoples fun and decreases your likelihood of success.

Not really, but I can understand why people would think like that.

yes it can be annoying expecially after i have like 5 guys in one stasis bubble and the other thing i am annoyed with is how people are literally right up your butt man

its like dude seriously i got this go and take care of the trasmitters

this is why im glad i dont own a mic because i admit i would end up ripping on that person

what i usually do is if that person dies i wont revive him

No need to be upset about killstealing, as:
- The player's score is not dependent on the kill count
- you get assist medals instead of kill medals if kills are stolen, and both medals are equally colored: bronze, silver, gold. No difference
- at least on gold difficulty, teamwork and survival are more important and urgent than getting a good kill score
(- I get much points with my asari adept anyway, because of my biotic explosions and not because of kills)

@ Tazzmission: The Stasis Bubble trap isn't there for you to reserve kills but to buy your team time and make certain enemies like geth rocket troopers be less of a threat and be killable more easily

I noticed something interesting when I was levelling up my Vanguard. A random Adept we'd picked up kept following me around, and dropping singularities and warps right where I was charging with such precision that I got all the points, but he got all the kills. It was an interesting partnership, and at the end of the day, once you hit 5K kills and unlock the achievement, I couldn't care less who gets the kills. We all get the same EXP anyway, so it's utterly irrelevant who gets the notch since beyond 5K kills the game doesn't track it.

No problems whatsoever. We're in this for the Good of The Galaxy!
(Also, I always play some sort of support role in all MP team-based thingies, and unlike BF3, ME3 does not discriminate against assister players, as the point rewards are well-balanced - had no issues with it in the demo, have no issues with it in the full game either)

Nah...
Only when I spent 2 min trying to kill a Banshee/Geth Prime, then, when they only have one section left, a random guy comes from nowhere and kills them.
Usually, I end up having a sensation of "2 minutes of my life, thrown away like nothing"

I don't really mind. I do get a bit annoyed when someone runs in front of my shot just as I'm about to finish a guy- but that as much as a waste of ammo than anything! Also maybe a lack of awareness from teammates. All the XP goes in the same pot though...

No. It's preferable over players started hesitating to go after kills due to concerns of kill stealing.

On the contrary, separating your self with a clear escape route to your team and pounding on spawning enemy is very useful.
I suppose only if you're good at long/medium range though.

Once you're done or become overwhelmed, retreat to the rest of the team.
You have either elimenated the flanking threat or you will alert the team when they see you firing in the other direction

@El_Chala_Legalizado
If it takes you 2 minutes to neutralize a banshhe or a prime, you probably don't deserve the kill. ;)
Just joking, you probably exaggerated with those two minutes. :)

On the other hand, points are distrubuted accorfding to damage inflicted.
If you take out 90% of an enemy's health and someone else makes the money shot,
you'll get much more points + an assisst.

Well since your score doesn't actually matter, no.
I rarely get a kill stolen, and when I do I still get points based on the damage I did.
Since I mostly play winfiltrator, anything that survives (read: Banshee, Atlas, Brute) will only have small amounts of health left anyway, stealing it just saves me ammo.

The only time it bothers me in the slightest is when I'm playing a krogan and trying to rage, or if the person in question is bragging about it over the mic.

I can say that this works pretty damn well in Bronze. A Vanguard or two who know what they're doing can make a 19 minute game take only 15.  In Silver, you can still take out waves 1/2 with ease.  Gold... well, I have yet to play Gold by choice.  I have a feeling that going off on one's own would be a bad idea.

Team tactics are fine and dandy, but the object is still to win.  There are occasions when working as a team just isn't necessary.
