On the other hand if there's a good Vanguard, it's the best thing when seeing him charge a strong enemy to quickly warp the guy for him to trigger the explosion.

Only when people steal kills instead of watching my flank.
causing the whole team to died on Gold is not fun.

- The player's score is not dependent on the kill count
- you get assist medals instead of kill medals if kills are stolen, and both medals are equally colored: bronze, silver, gold. No difference
- at least on gold difficulty, teamwork and survival are more important and urgent than getting a good kill score
(- I get much points with my asari adept anyway, because of my biotic explosions and not because of kills)
@ Tazzmission: The Stasis Bubble trap isn't there for you to reserve kills but to buy your team time and make certain enemies like geth rocket troopers be less of a threat and be killable more easily

(Also, I always play some sort of support role in all MP team-based thingies, and unlike BF3, ME3 does not discriminate against assister players, as the point rewards are well-balanced - had no issues with it in the demo, have no issues with it in the full game either)

Only when I spent 2 min trying to kill a Banshee/Geth Prime, then, when they only have one section left, a random guy comes from nowhere and kills them.
Usually, I end up having a sensation of "2 minutes of my life, thrown away like nothing"

I dont mind the guys that last hit. but I dont like vanguards/shot gun infiltrators/decoy engineers who leave the main group to max kills by the enemy spawn. thats not team tactics, its you being a d*ck.
On the contrary, separating your self with a clear escape route to your team and pounding on spawning enemy is very useful.
I suppose only if you're good at long/medium range though.
Once you're done or become overwhelmed, retreat to the rest of the team.
You have either elimenated the flanking threat or you will alert the team when they see you firing in the other direction
@El_Chala_Legalizado
If it takes you 2 minutes to neutralize a banshhe or a prime, you probably don't deserve the kill.
Just joking, you probably exaggerated with those two minutes.
On the other hand, points are distrubuted accorfding to damage inflicted.
If you take out 90% of an enemy's health and someone else makes the money shot,
you'll get much more points + an assisst.

I rarely get a kill stolen, and when I do I still get points based on the damage I did.
Since I mostly play winfiltrator, anything that survives (read: Banshee, Atlas, Brute) will only have small amounts of health left anyway, stealing it just saves me ammo.

I can say that this works pretty damn well in Bronze. A Vanguard or two who know what they're doing can make a 19 minute game take only 15. In Silver, you can still take out waves 1/2 with ease. Gold... well, I have yet to play Gold by choice. I have a feeling that going off on one's own would be a bad idea.eldrjth wrote...

Team tactics are fine and dandy, but the object is still to win. There are occasions when working as a team just isn't necessary.
