Depends ... if they kill the guy I'm about to finish off over the guy in my blind spot that they can see due to them sniping then yes it pisses me off that they aren't being smart and provding covering/supressive fire and instead trying to "divide" my points with me so we can have "about" "even" scores (they don't matter ....) even though all players get the same XP at the end anyways >.>

I haven't really played much sniper style in this game, but if hey are using a scope even if they are behind you it's a fair chance that they will have a much larger blind spot than you.

Who cares, gtfo and play call of duty if u care that much. This mp is based around TEAMPLAY, not ego playing nitwits.

It didn't really bother me, but now it's getting to the point where I can hold my own against several enemies so I go and my team FOLLOWS me to kill everything I try to shoot instead of the Ravager and twenty Cannibals that WERE right in front of them and are now behind them. They got to watch me solo the rest of the wave and the one after that because they did the exact same thing again.

On that note, sniping someone who has one bar of health with a Widow and letting another enemy, that you could easily head shot and get FULL credit for, creep up on your buddy to shoot him full of holes is NOT teamplay.

Doesn't bother me in the slightest, I'm more concerned about making sure we complete all the objectives.

I personally care little for kills as ultimately it narrows down to the sum of all points, which as far as I can tell, remains the same regardless of who manages to kill who first. Though I can get angered by people playing as krogan who charge incessantly into everything they see.

No, not at all really. It happens to me and I inadvertently do it to other people too, depending on what class I'm using. As long as the enemies are dropping like flies and we're getting the objs. done it's really a non issue. When I'm playing with friends though I do like to harass my buddies about it.

There is no such thing as Killstealing in this type of Multiplayer period. Just because your shooting at the target does not mean you get the kill shot in, being first in on a target does not mean you get the kill shot. People on your team are not out to steal your kills they are trying to survive the wave.

Sounds like your just a point monger (there is another less kind word for it but this is a family forum).

The system implemented in ME3's multiplayer makes "kill stealing" a lot more bearable. The fact that assists can generate more points than kills due to the amount of damage you do to the target makes it a lot better than if BW went for the static amounts awarded for killing and assisting. The dynamic variations makes it much more forgiving and rage inducing.

Blasting someone with a widow when they are low health is just a miss play, I wouldn't even call it kill stealing. Finishing someone off with an appropriate attack is never bad.

If you can show me any difference, in XP or otherwise, whether I have more kills or you do, I'll maybe start caring. You didn't get any points for your kill...none for your assists either. Any argument to the contrary is as retarded as the dissenter.

I do mostly support as an engineer so it doesn't bother me a bit. In fact, I usually set it up so that it's easier for my teammates to get the kills. Doesn't matter who kills what in the end, does it? As long as you all survive...

Rocking the score lines with the valiant, but it only helps the team anyway the quicker the rounds are over.

It makes playing an adept harder , but in the end , it's all about the extraction.

People who sit back and take their sweet time unloading their major damage, yes. Idiots that hold burst-damage abilities until the last moment should screw off. I just did all of the damage on an Atlas, thank you for NOW deciding to turn that Widow on it. Thanks.

Even worse when you're a Biotic and you're setting up combos, and dipsticks just derp up every chance for that. Yeah, no, I wanted you to do that, I'm glad to help. Glad you're making it harder for the whole team so you can steal a few points.

No. Mostly because I'm the one doing almost all of the killing, regardless of class.

I don't have a problem with kill stealing whatsoever.

I do however have a problem with people ignoring basic tactics. If i have hit someone in a group with warp as an adept (for example), it makes sense that i'm about to follow it up with throw. This will kill the warped person, and likey anyone in close proximity (or severely damage/remove shields).

Sniping the warped person in the head isn't stealing my kill (it's not mine until i kill it) because this is a CO-OP setting. But ruining the biotic combo just so you have something to shoot at isn't benefitting the team, it's actually hindering them. So you took that one guy out, sure. But now you're reloading, and the 3 Geth Hunters that were cloaked right next to that guy are now swarming in and being a pain in the teams' ass - if you'd have let me finish the combo, we wouldn't be having this little problem.

It's the same thing with energy drain cancelling out a warp, except energy drain likely didn't even kill that enemy, and I have to try and set up a new combo.

Sure, it's not really a massive problem, but good tactics and communication dictate that glowing purple dudes are going to be blown up shortly (if your team knows what they are doing, of course). Besides, on gold, it's not like there are going to be others to shoot in the face :)

I hope people see my point here, but it is specifically limited to groups of enemies, due to the massive bonus from biotic explosions. Single enemies on their own don't apply to my point here - whoever kills them first did their job right.

Communication is key. Shame no-one ever talks in pubs, which is why i perfer playing gold with likeminded friends (when they are on). Mostly i'm forced to play in pubs, which is a shame being my stong point is tactics and communication.

I like to think it doesn't, and I never complain about it. Honestly though, yes a little. I busted my a** to single handedly get that Banshee's health bar that low, and a f*ucking pansy sniper finishes him off? THOSE ARE MY POINTS!!

Nope, because I'm mainly an Infiltrator and I'm the one that usually "steals." Sniper rifles ftw.
