...it just sitting this with "Joining Game" on screen forever never doing anything.  No matter how long I wait, it never joins, it never fails, and I have to exit to dashboard just to get the hell off that screen.

What is going on?

edit:  these are friends I had no trouble playing with for a week and a half with the demo.  I just ran a speed and ping test, everything is as normal with my connection...
