Do not falter, do not despair; we will hold the line.

(Link to a thread about the PR Damage Control over BioWare the past 24 hours+, very interesting and updated. Including here as it's great source of hope and support of our cause.  Hold the line!)
Hello fellow comrades. First I want to link bwFex's post in the ending sticky that summarizes how myself, and all the rest of us feel.
This is how we collectively feel, AND WE WILL HOLD THE LINE
http://social.biowar...61/108#10035323
Poll on your opinion for endings:
http://social.biowar...06/polls/28989/

I just wanted to make a thread to talk about our hope for the correction and/or addition of content involving the ending, to give us more closure, eliminate space magic and little boy wizard things, and give us just a full ending that we deserve as loyal fans.

Many of us support the indoc theory, some do not. I do support it, but you don't need to support that one theory to hold the line.

BioWare is listening. Through things like Retake Mass Effect - Child's Play, our passion and loyalty is very apparent.

Through some tweets by BioWare employees and the Mass Effect team, it also reassures us and instills hope upon us. Some of these tweets can be seen below.

Just posting to remind you guys that not all hope is lost
like Boy-binger says at the end "you have hope, more then you know"

Source: http://social.biowar...016477#10018249, thanks Tiax Rules All for making this little list.

The point being ladies and gents, hope is not lost and hope is most certainly still here. There is without a shadow of a doubt in my mind that there is more to this story and ending than is currently in the game, it'll just be a matter of time before more details are released. There's just too much evidence that there's more to the ending than originally lets on. Mass Effect is too big of a Cash Cow to simply end like that, there will be more to clarify this ending; perhaps even more Mass Effect games. It just makes EA too much money to not continue.

Simply put, hope is not lost and we WILL Hold the Line. Do not falter, do not fear; hope is still here.

HOLD THE LINE, RETAKE MASS EFFECT

I have come to trust each of you with my life -- but I have also heard murmurs of discontent. I share your concerns.

We are trained for cyber warfare; we would be legends, but the forums might get locked. Glory in battle is not our way!

Think of our heroes; Forbes, who rally our hearts with editorials. Or Gamefront, who have our backs against their profit margin!

These giants do not seem to give us solace here, but they are not all that we are.

Before the forums, there was the game. Before the game, there were PLAYERS!

Our influence stopped the Fallout 3 ending, but before that we held the line!

Our influence created money for kids, but before that, we held the line!

Our influence will stop THE COLORS OF RED, BLUE, AND GREEN; in the battle today, we will hold the line!

Of course hope is not lost... There is always hope. We just have to not give up to soon. They can still release DLC to fix the ending. They can still release a Mass Effect Broken Steel.

Bioware has something sneaky planned.

What it may be frightens me.

Yes Broken Relay is still possible.. and There is a high chance of it happening seeing that EA is all about making money. But if we give up then we will never get it.

At this point it does seem like this is all part of their plan for DLC but even if it is I think they took something away from a great series.

Very true. If this whole time the ending was planned to create this kind of reaction emotionally and what-not, they are geniuses. In a way, they would have successfully indoctrinated the players in the process of Shepard being indoctrinated, if that's the theory you believe.

Sorry, but cryptic hints on twitter aren't going to cut it anymore. They tried that line and it got blown out of the water by that Final Hours app. They need to quit screwing around and just either completely shut up or tell us what's going on. I'm sick and tired of being toyed with.

I'm gonna hold the line no matter what. If it comes to nothing; so be it. I'll know that I kept on fighting for a story/universe I believe in, like Commander Shepard and everyone else would do. Hold the Line.

I don't understand why people are saying this. In actuality, Final Hours reinforced that there was more to the ending, and personally I felt it supported the indoc theory.

Also, the Final Hours app is not made by BioWare, but by a third party (GameTrailers).

Honestly, Final Hours doesn't affect anything.

This is going to be buried so fast.

Reality is, they decided to go with cosmology, and Shepard is just one man. We will likely not get an amended ending, but rather an explanation of said cosmology and how we should be grateful to the endings as they are an artistic masterpiece.

I won't be happy, but thats the answer I am putting my money.

What is up with all this "We can't say that this is the difinitive end" stuff ?

If this is just some sort of marketing scheme it makes it even worse!

I'm going to bed now, I've spent a whole day on these forums, and I hope that when I wake up, bioware will have formutated an actual statement.

I know you were joking, but of course there is still hope. EA likes money, and there are a lot of us who hate this ending. We are the majority. the poles prove that. EA if we keep the pressure on will cave in and give us what we want because in the end a happy customer is a customer who spends money.

We need a thread reminding us about hope.

Right now we are fighting over semantics. We are saying they scrapped this theory or that based solely on the fact they scrapped one plan to do it without the UI (no mention of actually scrapping the idea). We are saying that they won't put out "post-ending" DLC (when the Stargazer at the end of the ME3 game is centuries in the future, so putting out DLC that happens in the past would still occur before that).

We are fighting with eachother. Final Hours is tearing us apart. Don't fight your brothers and sisters! Help the children, donate, and Hold the Line!

QFT. Stand strong. If we stand any chance of changing anything, then we need to stick together and keep making our voices heard for as long as possible.

The only hope I see is that a string of ending dlc is on the way.
I can see it now....
The "Shepard's Trials" expansion pack! Fight your way through 6 trippy missions from the center of your mind as you fight the encapsulating effects of indoctrination. Includes final boss with Harbinger and the revival of Marauder Shields! And your dialogue decisions, progress through the pack, and overall EMS finally unite to create endless possibilities for the True Ending of YOUR Shepard's Story..... only 80 Microsoft points. :o

"Disclaimer": This mission pack retcons your old EM3 ending. (Quite the loss indeed... )

...

I jest of course :P
