So Ashley is almost always nowhere to be found on the Normandy and the same goes (less) for Tali.
Where are they hiding ? Or is it bugs ?

Tali was dead in my playthrough, but Ashley tended to be in one of the larger rooms on the same floor as Dr. Chakwas, Garrus, and Liara. She moves around the room...and at one point, she's actually laying on the floor (hard to see). Check your map, tells you where people are.

Characters actually move around the ship, they're usually in a different place after each priority mission. Just check your map, it'll tell you where everyone is.
