Just a quick question, but I'm near the end of my current playthrough and did not successfully unlock the blood mage specialization. I realized this too late before my autosaves could go back far enough. I'm preparing for my next playthrough and I'm wondering if I have to be a mage to unlock it. Does my character have to go through the Fade, or can another mage like Morrigan do it for me? I did it the first time with Jowan, who of course can't learn something he already knows.

During the Redcliffe section you have to enter the Fade to confront the demon using your main character. If your main character isn't a mage, you can't get it.

Oh god, I have to replay a mage again? I might do it, but damn ... that's going to be repetitive.
