Patience is truly a virtue. Between the importing face issue, plot holes, and the ending of the game, I just don't see a fun factor for buying the game. I don't blame the bioware staff for these issues, I blame Casey Hudson. He was the project director and the man who had the final say so on all game related decisions.
Man, it seemed like back when ME1 first hit the shelves, Casey Hudson was so humble and honest about this series and really emphasized how the power of choice and consequence would really have a powerful impact on each players individual experence. Fast forward six years with with a 100 million dollars in sales and now I cringed at an Casey Hudson interview. Because when he talks about the game I just get this overwhelming feeling that he really doesn't care at this stage because in his mind, the money coming in, thats all that matters.
So I will simply just sit back and see what unfolds with the series and like most other fans, I really felt like bioware was a company that I could trust to tell great story games. I think the lesson to be learned here from all of this is that companies who have limited funds and resources are more likely to put more heart and passion into a production than a team that has an overly large finiancial budget. That was Bioware with ME1 and ME2, and well, the money is here now.
Why I haven't purchased ME3
