Why would there be so many threads? I mean, arent they the vocal minority?

Confusing.

That's because we are not the minority. It's based on the idea for every one person who voices they don't like something, there are ten that stay quiet. Look at the polls or get a real world statistic and describe the ending in detail in non-biased form to one of your friends or family and get their opinion. You will see there is a common trend. Don't assume a view is in the minority just because you disagree with it. Especially when it's not just here. If you go to the Mass Effect Wikia page you'll see it's there too.

Constructive cryticism is a sin! Mindlessly accept whatever a corporation does after they lied to you, to get your money. It's the only way to be sure.

Best solution to ending threads
make threading complaining about threads
this logic is sound

I did look for someplace else to post this.  They do have a social bioware help sub-forum, but that seems to be more for people who are having technical issues with the site, not a site feedback/suggestions sub-forum.  So I decided to place it in the forum the topic was directly about.  If I missed someplace else it should have gone, I'm sorry.

That said, I am also sorry about the title.  I should have used "hold the line" instead of "whaa, I hated the ending."  That was immature of me and I apologize.  But those those claiming I am trying to silence/censure/make you stfu/whatever,that simply isn't the case.  If anything, I suggested a dedicated forum where your voices could be heard.  I'm sorry if you took it another way, but again given the title I used I guess I can see where you got that impression.

Gonna have to check into this Marauder Shields thing everyone keeps mentioning, and...

Look, there's nothing stopping you from starting a thread you like and people jumping into that thread and contributing to it. If enough people are interested in what you want to talk about, then the thread will grow in size and be, er, successful. I hate to use the term successful, but, erm, yeah.

Anywho, a large number of us are using our consumer power to Hold the Line. You should rejoice, because when you don't like something, you know you have that kind of recourse in the future.

Stay Calm. Stay Strong. Hold the Line

You're not part of some real movement....

A movement requires work, and you're too lazy for that. A similar example would be how people watch the YouTube doc about Kony and then lazily contributed to the cause by changing their Facebook status....

Hold the line? lol.

If you really did have this much passion, it would be a shame that you're wasting it on a 15min pixel cutscene; and not contributing to something worthwhile in your life....

Hold the line? It would seem you're not holding anything? Besides that Cheetos bag...

Factually incorrect, please do not discuss topics concering statistics, mathmatics, or polling, when it is obvious you have no understanding on how polling generally works....

Actually, you are part of a niche that shares your interests. This niche makes you feel like you're part of a majority but in reality, the people who agree with you would be a rather minuscule percentage overall. Hate groups huddle in the same type of places, but they do this to feed their own hate because there message wouldn't fly publicly.

You may notice that no one is talking about your passionate plea in the Main Street Media. You are being ignored just like Occupy, and with time you will fade away.

daguest wrote...

There is about 97% people disliking the ending, while 3% of them like it. According to the poll. I'm sorry if you are part of a very small minority of people.

I would love to see more of your well researched findings...

Having polls with niche-factual-fallacies is far from having actual evidence to support your cause; you're actually doing yourself a disservice more than anything.

OP: Have you ever heard of critical mass?

Basically, it's when there is enough fissible nuclear material in close proximity to other fissible nuclear material that a chain reaction of protons starts and there is a gigantic energy release that is oftentimes violent if not delayed in some manner.

THAT'S what a separate forum for ending threads would do.
If you want an in-game example of what would happen just look at this

Honestly do you people even consciously think about what you're typing?

You state false claims that include an even more embarrassing analogy. Many game sites have already proven your statement to be factually incorrect, Dota sites are known to have heavy forum fan bases and reserve forum sections like the one suggested just for these occasions. Think before you speak.

They're overtaking the "Mass Effect 3 Story and Campaign Discussion (Spoilers Allowed)" sub-forum, pushing everything aside.  There are other parts of the game and I'd love to read about those as well.  Maybe another sub-forum of the general Mass Effect 3 forum?  I'm personally getting quite tired of hearing about holding the line or people blasting Bioware over ME3's ending.

^^^OP made a point. He is asking the mods a question. Why are you all replying at all unless you agree with him?

How come should we leave? Apparently we are the majority and this is a forum to discuss single player story. You can always reply to your own thread to make them up there. Why don't you do that?

They post because they feel entitled to only have one side of the debate discussed. Again, they lose the message war when they do this.

I'm independent, but you'll probably say that makes me a liberal, so whatever. You have me on the unemployed by a technicality though. in college, don't have on-campus transporation, but worked over spring break (the week ME3 came out). Also, cheetos suck. Doritos forever.

And you feel entitled to make -false- judgements about what we feel about ourselves.

The whole reason for creating a thread is to have others comment on them.  They are not private conversations.

No, they can't. Because this is the only means of communication between the massive association of disgruntled and seriously let down consumers and the designers responsible for letting them down, AND providing enough consumer pressure to let the producers know that a fix is in order. Because this is about fixing a product that is - in our opinion, or at least in my opinion - broken. And because none of these topics invalidate any of the rules that govern these forums, established as a means for this exact purpose: communication, gathering opinions, sharing information and preferences.

Hey - don't be too harsh on the OP and their friends.

Pseudo-intellectuals who prop up their egos by telling themselves they're one of the few who "get" the "true art" of the writing and thus are elevated above all the "plebs" ( ... checkmate ... ) need a place to hang as well.

Nah. chess players only say checkmate when they've actually won, or when they're mocking those that say checkmate regularly

I support this 10,000%.

Enough is enough people. It's just a video game. Grow up.

Jim Sterling was completely correct in calling you entitled brats.

It's been confirmed the endings are the ones BioWare intended. No more "hold the line". Time to move on.

You don't have to be a jerk about it. Really makes you no better than us "entitled brats."

Actually the idea with the "ME3 story ending complaints" sub-forum is not bad. We could focus our anger better.

Makes more sense than creating the "ME3 story ending praises" sub-forum, thats for sure - there would be nothing there.

Oh and uh.. hold the line !
