The ending of a story is the most imortant thing, sure the journey there does count, but a ending fails totaly when it gets over 50 maybe even over 75% of the people go "Uhmmmmmmmm, wtf happened."

Will be intresting to get my copy on monday, but after reading stuff on this board i think I will just keep myself far away from the new Bioware games as possible. :(

It's unfortunate that ME 3 is getting bad ratings in Amazon, but really you reap what you sow.

According to Casey Hudson, BW knew the ending would provoke a reaction, that's what they wanted, this stirring debate among their fans is also what they wanted. Therefor they must have planned on and greatly desired to be trashed on Amazon.

Too bad, since it's a great game and I would have given it at least a three even with the terrible ending.

Really it's hard to blame the fans when Bioware LITERALLY brings it on themselves.

the ratings are a knee jerk reaction to people feeling like s*** after finishing the game, rather than feeling like a hero, Bioware should have known better. I felt like i had lost a relative, was in shock, like thousands of other people, you reap what you sow, and bioware got what they deserved for such a humongous oversight.

you do NOT pay £30 to a game company to feel like s*** period

Its been 1-2weeks knee jerk is over.

I was a little confused but I didn't feel like ****.

On harpooning the critics they have to rate the game on more than the ending and give it a rating based on that stuff. Most didn't even beat the game as they have a time limit. Knee jerk reaction the "fans" are doing worse to me than bioware did as the fans are going after everybody.

rioting? Meh.... venting more like.  And it would seem to be more than a few ppl irked about the game.  But I rate the game in all of its failures, not just the ending.  But my lazy suggestion of boycotting which is, unsubscribe from Swtor and dont buy any more Bioware merchandise is on deaf ears... works for me though, what else can you do? Give them more publicity by having some sort of rally of the irritated?  blah, too much work.

I was using it to get a point across I think it's going down. When I came here about 15 hours after release. I saw threats haaraents demands to get people fired and people going after anybody who liked the games ending. And the world is full of idiots. "a person is smart people are dumb" from mib fits almost every situation

Oh and a few boycot bioware threads.

Can't forget people who cancels their kotor accounts even though they liked and or loved the game. Posting spoilers in the no spoilers section. Hacking the game and giving instructions on how to get free dlc etc etc. I can go on and on. Basically it was like a riot to me.

Oh and people selling/throwing away all bioware products they had including the books and comic books. I think there's a few YouTube videos showing people destroying copies of the game.

More bad reviews continue to come in on Amazon, their price on the PC version has dropped $5. I don't think it will be much longer before the 360 follows suit. It's got by far the largest amount of reviews.

p.s. Still waiting for someone to address Hudson's remarks & show those of us who don't like the endings where we misunderstood him...

I may have my issues with the game but this review bombing is pathetic. People are giving this game a one on Metacritic...really? One out of ten? What game is truly a one out of ten? This just makes me not read what they have to say.

While the Wiki may not always be the best source for answers, it does at least show when somone may be off a bit in their remarks and debates, as well as their thinking in general. And I recommend a cookie before naptimes.

Superman 64 is the lowest rated game to date and that was a horrid game. Everything about it was bad. And people are rating this game as being the same as superman 64... Not a knee jerk just stupid to me.

ME2 did, and supposedly ME3 does, too; reason I do not own it (again, see listed registered games, as mentioned earlier).

But this thread ain't about my review of ME3 (don't have one); tis about a bunch of self-important gamers that brag about trying to tank Bioware's sales and rep via Amazon. And I believe that such behaviour is more befitting time outs and corners rather than recognition.

While .I may not aquire ME3,  I still support Bioware and their right to write what they wish; not what is demanded to them by Occupy Wading Pool.

Based on the article you posted earlier, was the ending traditional? By the number of those protesting too much, I think not. It seems to be different, which what was seemingly stated.

Yeah, that's just because so many 1 star bombed it because they didn't like the ending.  Which, while I don't agree with those who hate the ending, I can respect their opinion, as long as they are rational about it.

As I said in another thread, constructive critiicism gets results... saying OMG WTF ME3 SUCKS! /RAGEQUITSWTOR doesn't help Bioware to listen to you.

EDIT: Oh and... Occupy Wading Pool? ROFLMAO that is great.

Saying the entire game is bad because of the ending is over reacting to the fullest extent. Yes, the ending was awful but the rest of the game was absolutely amazing! Anyway, nobody should trust the user reviews on sites like amazon and Metacritic. Half the people that leave negative reviews are trolls and the other half usually don't know what they're talking about. For instance: people giving The Godfather a 0 out of 10 because they thought it was boring. HA!

I guess by now it's safe to assume that Bioware is at least seriously considering adding a better ending to the game so most of those bad reviews will become irrelevant once it happens.
