The last couple of days, I've been basically unable to complete a multiplayer match because I keep losing connection to the EA servers mid-match. It kicks me out of the mission, then almost immediately is able to connect again. This is *incredibly* frustrating, because it means I forfeit all my XP & Credits because the server had a networking hiccup that is fixed almost right away. Why does it need to constantly be in contact with the server throughout the entire MP session? If I was legitimately using the MP at the start of the match, why wouldn't it still be legit at wave 10 even if the program can't talk to the server for 10 seconds?

I'm not joking; I've been kicked four times in a row, all silver matches, all reapers, all on waves 8 and 9 and I'm honestly starting to get insanely fed up with this. This is absolute rubbish, Bioware. Infuriating. I haven't raged this hard at something inanimate in a long time.

Actually, I lost connection during a silver match against reapers on wave 9...coincidence?

Almost shocked that nothings been announced yet, you'd think we'd get a notification that they are aware or something.

Bioware you should really get this fixed this is an awesoem game and just a bit useless if we lose our XP from 10 waves every time we try to play your gonna lose alot of playerbase like this get it sorted , i know i havnt got an issue with my own connection so its definately the EA servers , this wouldnt be such a problem you know , IF you gave us our earned Experience EVEN when we get kicked and DCd and ****e cos at the moment leveling a character is next to impossible. some feedback would be appreciated from the officials too

Yeah it's the EA servers crapping out on us as usual.
I love how this is happening already in the first month of release.

It's frustrating to finally find people who actually think, and then losing connection

I know you guys are raging, and yeah, me too, but this is not bioware's fault. All these people's hate comments about bioware having 'crap servers' is rubbish. The servers you play on are NOT BioWare, they are EA, the publisher of the game. having knows EA's reputation, it isnt surprising to see that EA has such bad servers. Just letting everyone know that this isnt BioWare's fault, they are good Devs and people, EA are the greedy ones.

This is extremely infuriating, I hope they fix this. When I disconnect, it is almost always on the final wave or two..

Right now I'm having a irritating problem.... twice in a row..... silver matches against Geth, I die and suddenly my character resurrects, but I start floating on the sky or sunking in the ground, I get out of the playground and the match is lost for me, sometimes before I goe to far enemies kill and I instantly resurrect in the same situation..... They were being good matches with good partners and I had to leave..... Oh by the way the performance of the servers during this games was being terrible.....
Maybe i didn't explain vey well, the samething happened to me a week ago, this time on a Bronze match, mi character "sunk" before the last wave, I took this picture:

I have been getting disconects since day 1. But now, with the Operations is really frustating, because I always loos connection on gold matches from wave 7. Once I lost it with 30 secs on wave 11... It's really annoying, because of this I haven't been able to finish the challenges on the weekends. I really wish that Bioware could actually do something, even if it's EA servers.

I honestly can't say how many times I've been dropped out of matches, it's been easily over twenty times! Everything from wave 7 to 34 seconds left on the clock on a silver match, that was my personal favourite so far! And as far as mission weekends go, I spent the entire weekend trying to connect to multiplayer and only managed to get on Sunday evening at about 8pm and I couldn't get a single match! So no mission success because Bioware and EA can't control their servers! And yes i include Bioware with EA because their name is on the title right next to EA, so they are just as accountable! EA may be the money bags, but bioware must grow a sack and stand up to them, cause it's their name getting dragged through the dirt!!!

i got kicked 15 seconds from a gold match ending. i can't connect right now. just looses connection. i thought it was my internet, but now im just blaming ea and bioware. shame on ea, and shame shame on bioware. playing possum on a technicality is just as bad as ea not fixing the servers... hopefully bioware will now see that adding multiplayer instead of. i dunno, adding an actual ending to the game, was a sad mistake on there part.
Bioware, if you cant get your act together and garrentee what you sell, you need to not sell it in the first place. or are you a second rate dev like codemasters who just throws exuses then runs and hides there head in the sand when everyone crys out about it. all i can say is im glad mass effect is over i dont have to blow my cash on a shoddy product to see how the story turns out, turns out bioware didnt care about the story or the multiplayer.

I think BioWare is ok, it's just EA servers + Origin = Poo

I wouldnt blame bioware firsthand, but rather EA who's most likely saying " Bioware you can only use these cheap ass crap servers, otherwise we can't afford that summer house at the coast"

I haven't been able to play MP for 3 weeks now i just DC, at first i thought it was my internet turns out it was a factor, so i got a better internet 37Mb/s DL and 10Mb/s up, then i go a better wireless card and my connection is at a steady 65% strength and 100% Signal quality while writing this(not bad to say i am upstairs), just tried to go on MP and i couldn't even get into a game when i did i just DC'd. So i went on the SP i cant even play that without it the message coming up saying that i have lost connection to the EA servers.

Just got booted twice in a row on gold matches - different arena's but both with Cerberus opponents. VERY frustrating!
I'm wondering if it has something to do with an anti-cheating engine? Because my connection is just DROPPED! No lag (oddly enough), nothing else to indicate any issues. No, I'm not cheating, but it seems like what I'd expect out of a IPS or Firewall were it sends a RST when it sees something it doesn't like - it's that sort of behavior to me.

Okay this has now become ridiculous.
It doesn't even have to be a latency-filled game to disconnect.
I now disconnect when I purchase PSPs or even choose my weapon.

Might be coincidence, but BF3 keeps disconnecting me from EA Online.
Maybe EA scavenged their servers from a landfill?

This is def getting worse. I don't currently play any other online EA games. Husband plays one not connected to them and that is fine. ME3 was until the 1.3 patch was forced on us. It's unplayable for me. Just crashes mid-game. Hangs in shop and lose all the temp 1 mission upgrades just bought. It's not connection, we upgraded to 40MB (lol in UK that = 4MB).
EA said to turn off software firewall, open the UDP ports on the router as NAT was causing issues on the router. Seriously, they want u to do this coz their servers are s****e !!! And spend the time I can't play ME3 cleaning my computer of viruses.
EDIT: I played a game the other night (longest one 2 mins) but it was really weird, I was firing at something and then I would "jump" to somewhere a short distance away.

I'm a new player - I've been trying to get into ME3 MP lately. I played the MP demo a bunch, but only got the full game in late June. The multiplayer part is a lot of fun.
But... it's almost impossible to play for me. Between disconnects, lag, bugs and inability to join games, I'm just about ready to give up.
I get disconnected a lot
- maybe 1/3 games - and often on wave 9-11. Lag is not very common, but happens (bad lag, where enemies warp, firing at enemies does nothing, etc). Some games, Pull pretty much doesn't work, while other times it's fine. When searching for games, I often have to press cancel and retry a bunch of times (easily 3-8 times), before finally joining a game, otherwise the "searching for game" will just on forever. The cancel-trick doesn't always work, though, and I'll have to restart the game. (also, no text chat is annoying.)
I can't imagine it's this bad for everyone, right? The ME3 servers must hate my connection. I also wonder if the ME3 servers are unusually unstable atm; sounds like it from some of the posts in this thread.
