Okay, I'm not saying this will definitely fix the problem (because nothing's definite with EA servers), but I went onto the help page (https://help.ea.com/...t-3-multiplayer) which as you can see suggests forwarding certain ports on your router (namely UDP Ports: 5659, 6000). I've just tried this and I've played three games so far without any problems (this is with all DLC installed, including Extended Cut). So this might be worth a try if you haven't done it.

Edit: Yeah, probably a placebo effect. Changed it to 3659 and it all seems to be working now. Thanks.

I suggest everyone else tries this.

Looks like we're all in the same boat..
Mine cuts out at least 80% of the time, even when I'm not doing multiplayer, and even when I'm playing normal single player, a box pops up saying it's lost connection. I don't care in single player! When I close the box, the whole thing freezes and I have to restart the game. So irritating.

Attempted the port forwarding changes- the "EA Server" disconnects are still occurring. I've probably lost several hundred thousand ingame credits so far to this, over the past 20 days.

Multiplayer is rusting away. Well, there goes the one redeeming aspect of the game.

I get this error seldom, more common this days is a connection Problem while purchasing a Pack in the store. After paying it, the game loads and then the lost connection error comes, but I got lucky and mostly got my Items when reconnecting to the MP.

Dropping out off a game, happens, but it is seldom and random.

I can absolutely understand why some say that EA/Bioware should call Steam (Valve).

But the problem is, well not many from you might like to hear it, why is ME 3 not on Steam?

Because of the policy from Steam when selling games through it:

Is, if you sell a game on Steam you need to offer all DLC to for this game (that had been told to me by someone) which in fact with ME 2 never happened and that is the reason why ME 3 is for PC only available through Origin.

I have lost connection to EA servers in 16 matches in a row today. All after wave 8. I have lost most of my supply items too. :(
What the heck is this BioWare???

I want to bump becouse i started playing ME3 again and unfortunately "Mass trolling" the epic sage continues. I just played around 10 golds and finished 1. Loosing connection in last waves is even worse than not being able to play at all. I have absolutely no ida on what EA servers this game is hosted but i never had any dissconnects or other network problems with Battlefield 3. General question should be why EA accepted this **** as it is?

Disconnecting as non-host usually means the game software could not handle conditions between host and the player...there are defects in game software for networking, so this isn't to say the network is bad.

Hello. I forwarded port 3659 (on my router it says virtual servers, I assume it's the same) also disabled UPnP. I still get disconnected((( Firewalls and Ativiruses are also disabled. Any suggestions?

Honestly there is really nothing that can be done on our end, port forwarding, disabling unp etc.. Honestly if we can play our other online games fine there is no reason why we shouldn't be able to play this one. Its not a port forwarding issue its a problem on their end. For those who were able to get the game working its a mere coincidence the port forwarding thing does not work.

This question has been out there since the game first came out. There seems to be a policy preventing them from commenting on it.

Same issue - haven't been able to play for several weeks now. Any of you guys have any good ideas on other courses of action since EA support has been an obvious dead end?

Tried ME3 MP yesterday at my friends PC too.Other machine specs, other internet provider and other router brand.
I've got the message ingame what I expected...:(
So the problem is not in my connection.
Searched my shelf for ME1 and ME2.I'll play the entire story and hope when I reach to the rainbow they'll fix the MP...
Or this time won't be enough? :D

Started having this issue today even though I've played fine past couple days.
I actually WANT to play multiplayer, but getting disconnected at Wave 4 and 6 is pissing me off.
It even happened in singleplayer once or twice.

Same here, and it's getting worse every day!
I tried everithing - port forwording, disabeling firewalls and antivirus programs, and there is no change. I even put a switch for a direct connection with my PC and asked my ISP to give me a second IP address and...same thing.
I don't know when this is going to end but i hope it will end soon. Otherwise everyone will stop playing at all.

Get to work EA and fix your own mess!

I concur, it's getting worse. I've been playing a lot in the last week after a long break. At first no problems, but then I started to have glitches in multiplayer that seemed like lag, than "Galaxy at War" won't update, and now this "You lost connection to EA sever" twice in a row in the mid round 4 or so. I fowarded ports, I disabled antivirus and firewall, I got rid of the router, all for nothing.
I may remember why I lost interest last time...

Well the maintenance actually made it worse for me it seems. before I could play as long as I didn't care about losing credits. When you get disconnected on wave 10 it blows, but at least I got to play nine waves. Now I can not get past wave 2.

I play other games with no problem other than occasional lag.

When the game first launched , I could play no problems. As the game ages, the connection issues get worse and worse. I suppose this is going to sound petty , but I can not trust bioware to give me my moneys worth on a game anymore.

This is part of the reason I have stopped playing ME3 multiplayer. It seems that EA is using the bare minimum in terms of bandwidth and hardware for some of their games and servers.

They easily get overloaded and drop clients. It sucks.
