I've played through as a warrior and seen all the cool gear they can get (the warden set and templar set being my favorites) what do end game rogues look like?

It depends on what armor type you want.

Crap.

There are no more than 2 models for leather armour, as far as I can tell; the normal one and the more revealing Dalish variant that shows more skin. Also, there are no hoods or cowl! No hoods for rogues? What is the RPG world coming to... its as big a part of the class as robes and staffs are for mages, for crying out loud!

Rogues can use them... there just aren't many.  I was wearing a hood at the end of the game.

Hoods aren't as big a part of the rogue class as you may think. Say rogue to me and I think of a person who is stealthy, can pickpocket and open locks and deal with traps. No hoods involved <_<

....Of which there are precious few in the game, too. Bioware Devs definitely had a warrior fetish going. :P

Nonsense, lad! The rogue/thief characters have been represented wearing hoods since Baldurs Gate! So for a BioWare game, especially, 'tis a grave sin indeed.

There's nothing even remotely rogue-ish about that screenshot. :(

That's funny. Your rogue looks like a warrior, not a rogue.

See what I did tharr? By the way, this is nothing personal against you in particular, just that the rogue gear in this game is pretty dissapointing.

So has anyone informed OP yet that there are only 3-4 basic graphics for each type of armor in the game? He's probably already seen an "endgame" rogue if he put any of this characters in light or medium armor with a strength req of ~20.

This game is really not that great if your primary interest is a gear treadmill.

Well, if we're gonna go there, I think a lot of the armor in this game looks a bit silly and cartoony. It's a good thing I like the gameplay. So I get your point, but the OP was just asking what it looks like, not if I liked it.

My rogue will be wearing ancient elven armor. Its hardly a 'warrior' set as it is medium armor, and pretty much every warrior I've seen wheres heavy-massive armor.

Every rank-and-file military grunt(Warriors) you encounter in the game wear such armour. Granted, not as powerful, but the very same model.

Can't argue with that. This is one of the best medium armors in the game, from what I can tell, but it looks just like some of the starting armor. Gear isn't really a huge priority in this game. My current level 12 character is still wearing some of the items he started with, and two of the dlc items I've had since the start seem to be among the best available.

The ancient elven armor uses the model that is worn by the bulk of heavy armors. The heavy chainmail (a heavy armor), Armor of diligance, and such use that model. As I know, Ancient Elven is the only medium armor that uses the model.

So in other words there aren't really any roguish armors graphically speaking. Other than what you get from Leather/Studded Leather with a repaint.

well i guess thats a good point, a rogue doesnt NEED to be in light leather, there certainly is medium armor though i always associated it with non-tanking warriors (ie stuff Sten and the Dwarf wear) how much of a fatigue hit do you get wearing that stuff and is it even really viable given the elivated Str. requirements?
