I really enjoyed the James Vega and Shepard banter. James was a cool new character - and I loved hanging out in the shuttle bay with him and Cortez when they were teasing each other.

I also enjoyed Garrus' friendship with Shep too. But I found James was a lot of fun to hang with.

Ashley is usually my FemShep's BFF in ME1, but I only have one save where she's the VS, so I don't know how it plays in ME3.

The friendship between Shepard and Joker is great; I kind of feel like he's an annoying little brother whom I nevertheless love. The rest of the crew can come and go, but there is no Normandy without my pilot.

Joker/EDI is my favourite NPC relationship, even when it was hostile/platonic. Their friendship in ME2 is built well -- it was so funny when EDI started teasing Joker. "I just got played by the intercom."

ManShep and Garrus are like two old war buddies. If Shepard ever got married Garrus would be the best man.

Ohhhh, that's right.  Was a great scene, I just forgot about that paticular line.

3. femShep & Grunt --it's like a proud mom and her son.
4. Miranda & Jack = comedy gold
5. Wrex & Garrus -- rivals & good friends.
6. Mordin & everyone
7. EDI & Joker --it's like what Kasumi said, "They act like an old married couple." Besides, those two belong together.
8. Joker & Shep --all the crap they've been through and he hasn't mutined once. Great comic relief.

And Liara is just the perfect girlfriend for both Sheps.

Shepard and Garrus/Liara. That scene with Liara and the timecapule made me feel all googly inside. Funny, my Shep never romanced Garrus, but their scenes and dialogue were always so heartwarming. Joker's as well.

I like Tali, but I always feel disconnected with her. Maybe because I don't see her face.

After reading all these comments about Ashley, I think I might have to save on her on Virmire one of these days.

Garrus and Shep are definitely at the top of the list.

Also like my Shep's friendship with Wrex and Grunt. I like my krogans, missed them as squad mates. I also just really liked something about that bit at the end where Grunt says "Thanks for getting me out of the tank."

I really warmed up to Vega as well. Wasn't too sure at first, but he turned out pretty all right.

Ken and Gabby always had me laughing as well. Glad I could get them back in 3. I'll also mention Chambers since she gave me my fish back. Love my fish.

Garrus and Shepard. FemShep's final conversation with him is heartbreaking and touching and so, so perfect. "There's no Shepard without Vakarian."  "And if I'm up there in that bar and you're not, I'll be looking down.  I'll always have your back."

It's a testament to the writing that so many of the relationships in this game are as good as they are. Liara, Tali, Legion... all would be major standouts of any other game. Even James, who we all feared so much, turned out to be a lot of fun.
