I had to download stuff when I installed my game FROM THE DISK. The process displayed was "downloading" not "installing."

It's downloading from the disk.

Ask customer support or anyone who has advanced computer knowledge.

I installed a game on 2 different PCs on the same internet connection. One had a brand new DVD drive, one had an old DVD drive. The one with the new DVD drive installed the game 3x as fast as the one with the old DVD drive.
