Oh, so in the blue ending, the relays are apparently rebuilt. I'm sure glad Bioware's PR rep told me about that through twitter after I beat the game. That definitely shouldn't have been shown in the game.

Either A) she is teasing/using textbook PR or she's actually giving us as serious nudge towards the hallucination/indoctrination theory. I'll reserve judgement for now.

As much as I respect Jessica and the work she's doing to communicate with the community, the "use your imagination" schtick is getting old. I didn't throw down $90 to imagine the ending.

If Bioware seriously thought that's what the fans wanted, then I don't know where their minds were at the time.

I don't see harassment, but between the Mac Walters "Speculation from everyone" and these posts asking you how you interpret the ending, I think it's clear Bioware thought we'd enjoy it if we make up our own closure to the series.

As someone posted above. I could have imagined an ending for free.

Imagination is what role did Hackett take to rebuild Earth.
Imagination is what did Shep and Liara name their little blue babies.
Imagination is how are the Krogans going to fare now that they're cured.

Imagination is the little details, and the expanded details. Where will the people we've known go, what will they do.
It is not and never will be large chunks of the ending, especially when what we get is bizarre and nonsensical!

this. she has actually mentioned an actual NDA multiple times. if she were to act like this AFTER the NDA expires, then yeah, that'd be cause for worry. as it is, i wonder how much she'll have to spend on therapy after this.

Word. I told her I didn't spend $180 over three games to fill in the ending with my imagination.

Shes saying nothing. She's even qualifying it with "my personal take". All her tweets and the ending app show they were intentionally ambiguous which is utter BS. Not to mention she's contradicted herself repeatedly in the last twenty minutes.

My imagined ending was way better than this crap.

Like I actually imagined something like Shepard and company boarding Harbinger and fighting through hords of husks/collectors/heretic Geth to get to some main logic processor where the majority of Harbinger's consciousness was based to upload a virus/worm/trojan/other that killed reaper thought processes/initiated a self distruct sequence/other or planted a bomb that triggered a feedback loop in a Reapers which made them vunerable. This would, of course, involve piggbacking the signal through the mass relay network or some such that wouldn't result in its destruction because that's just silly...

Or altering the mass relays so that any reapers using them (remember they have special IFFs) would be fired out at near c resulting in their destruction and the a massive fleet could go around isolating and killing them system by system. I mean, imagine a dreadnought retrofitted with capital class Thanix cannons. Or particle beams. Or some sort of missile with an antimatter warhead. Or perhaps a new kind of FTL they could fit to massive self guiding bombs that they could use by having them come out of FTL right on top of a Reaper and detonating.

Oh, and there would be 60 seconds of cutscene where everyone thinks Shepard is dead before the sad music changes to heroic victory music as he/she stumbles/limps into view looking a little battered but not broken then there'd be a big victory party and Shepard would get made Chief Spectre/Council Representative/something else suitably awesome. Probably get a promotion in the Alliance as well. Then roll the credits.

Hmm, I could go on, I do have an over-active imagination and trouble sleeping so I tend to daydream about stuff while I'm trying to get some kip.
