If I wanted to use my imagination, I would have bought a book and saved a lot of money.

I've deleted my ME saves, but for everyone else, here's some missing Joker dialogue I put together:

www.youtube.com/watch

Doesn't make the ending any less retarded though.  Particularly since they more or less removed this section from the story.  I played the running to the beam part 10 times and never once heard this missing dialogue.

This is the most hope I've gotten out of one of her tweets. Except for the fact that she got the name wrong. His name is Mr. Shenanigans. :D

Strongest reaction out of her all night. =]

That's why I've moved on to the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, for now. It's helping me get rid of the bad taste ME3 left in my mouth.

I imagine Merizan's private thoughts are along the lines of "I didn't sign up for this."

Uh I remember Hacket ordering the fleet to try and stop Harbinger, but when the **** hit the fan Major Coats is the one that says pull back, but he is addressing the ground troops "Pull back to one of the buildings"

You, sir, should be the lead writer at Bioware. :crying: 'Tis such a pity you're not....the virus thing. BRILLIANCE!

Thanks, I do try ^^

Tbf my imagination comes from the fact that when I was a kid I read a lot of books which means I had to make up my own pictures. But then the books I read were head and shoulders above the stuff children get spoon fed these days. I mean if you take a moment to just look at the quality of the writing in Harry Potter, well I did better in my year 6 english classes. I mean, take the Earthsea books or the Famous Five, quality of those series is far superior.

Ok, may I ask who this Jessica chick is, and how she fits into the development of Mass Effect? From the way she talks, it sounds like she has no idea whatsoever on what's actually going on, I dare say she makes herself sound like an airhead who doesn't even play the games.

Indeed, I hope people get off her back. She really has no say in the inner workings of Bioware.

She is a community manager for Bioware so you are correct: She has no idea what is actually going on.

Hey calm down with the comments man, be respectful. She is the Community Manager nothing she says represents the dev team or the writers it is pure specualtion on her part. No need to insult her.

After all, if the author dies before he gets to the ending, you'll never be disappointed in the ending.

Apparently, we're supposed to have super-hearing to find out that Joker was ordered to pull out as we were approaching the beam, and that's why he was leaving the battle. That totally explains how our squad teleported back to the Normandy...

twitter.com/#!/JessicaMerizan/status/180505109338406913

Even if Hackett did order a retreat would Joker really abandon Shepard? It's one thing to retreat but Joker was fleeing the system. And even if Joker would, your LI or Garrus would never allow it. As for escaping the beam, how would Joker know it inherently hurts ships? He must've already hit the Mass Relay before Shepard made his decision so he was fleeing the system before the beam was even released with your squad no less.

No, that answer doesn't hold up. She either doesn't know much either or the person feeding her info isn't aware of the plot holes.

She's probably being told from higher up to try and get us to be quiet. Same with Chris i'm sure. The'll be getting orders to appease us. Sad fact is that this won't work. We're not going to be silent. Yes the game had good points. But the ending invalidates all of them.

One does offer..if we imagine it...but as someone said before in a review or so: If we're to imagine how things end, there's no point in even playing the game as we can imagine the whole thing and create our own Me3 storyline with a much better ending

The ending didn't make the game any less fun on the first time through. It just raped replay value of ME3, ME1-ME2, multiplayer, ME books, etc. And made thinking/talking around mass effect more disappointing than it should be.

Oh no, don't do that. You'll end up sitting around on westeros.org, analysing each phrase to death and complaining bitterly about how long it takes George to write the next book and he'd have a lot more time to write if he didn't keep watching football and going to cons and they're all going downhill anyway...

(Been there, done that, got the t-shirt. The books are great, though. And if you ever get the opportunity to go to one of his signings, George R. R. Martin is fascinating to listen to. Just--trust me on this one. That fandom is not any less frustrating!)

She joined after Dragon Age II came out. She likely saw the fan reaction to that and knew exactly what she was signing up for.
