The most important ammendment to me. All other rights are based on the second ammendment because the second is the one that allows citizens to protect all their other freedoms when/if government and law enforcement fails. And don't say that can't happen. This nation was founded because it DID happen.

I live in Waco, TX, so I hear him all the time. He used to have a column every Sunday in the local paper. However, it changed ownership, and they wanted him to keep his writings based on well written arguments and not just hate speech against liberals and Democrats.
I disagree with him on some of issues, but not gun control!

Keeping guns out of the hands of children is a good idea, but not if your assailant kills you before you can unlock it.
Education, awareness, and a healthy respect for weapons are necessary for a community to defend itself from attackers. What's a cop going to do when you are already dead? write a report and MAYBE arrest the perpetrator? How does that protect your family?
