After thorough testing of the final Rannoch mission, it seems that there is a bug that causes the Paragon/Renegade peace options to not appear. I have met all the requirements for getting the decision, and passing it (full reputation bar, saved Tali from  exhile, rewrote hereitcs, made peace between Tali and Legion, destroyed geth fighters, saved Admiral Koris), so this is definitely a bug.

I'm not sure what factors into the option appear, but when I get to the second option of "Allow the Upload" or "Stop Legion", the Paragon and Renegade options simply are not there.

My guess is either a Reputation bug, or there is an import bug that prevent my points from crossing over.

Hopefully you guys get this fixed soon--I'm loving ME3 so far, but I've spent far too long carefully pushing these two races towards peace to let a bug prevent me from doing so.

Thank you,

Someone mentioned (to me in one of the forums) that your reputation meter must be at level 4 or higher. That seems to be (based on what I was told) the only thing you appear to be missing. (Though I was also told the geth heretics decision didn't matter.)

Rewriting the Heretics requires that all other prerequisites be fulfilled.  Destrying the Heretics allows for two points of leeway, such as not rescuing Admiral Vaal'Koris vas Qwib-Qwib.

This isn't a case of not meeting prerequisites--I've read up on this, made posts in other forums about it, and I meet all necessary conditions--I completed every single mission in ME, ME2, and every single thing up to this point in ME3. I have a maxed out reputation bar, in addition to meeting all mission completion requirements and making enough correct decisions to qualify for achieving peace.

I thank you for trying to help, but this is clearly a case of either my reputation not registering correctly, or a case of the game not importing all my decisions from ME2 correctly. Hopefully the former, because I don't particularly wish to redo everything on Insanity (the Revenant doesn't make everything trivial this time around!).

I'm just letting Bioware know that there is an issue here that should be looked at, because I don't want to choose between my Ladyfriend and the robot who gives me glowing puppy dog eye every time I guilt trip him about lying to me.

If you are not playing the Playstation 3 version of the game, you could test your game state by using a save editor to alter your Reputation score.

Same problem here. Will be trying the save editor option when I'm back from work later today, but in the meantime, can anyone who DID get the peace option post their Para/Rene/Repu scores from right after that mission or possibly before/during it? Mine are 318/227/435 and I made the same decisions as the OP (except I destroyed the heretics) in the story. From what I've read, I completed not just "enough" prerequisites, but ALL of them. The in-game Para/Rene/Repu meter is maxed out. So.... what gives?

It's just downright baffling that we have to have enough Rep to even attempt this. I'd've thunk they'd handle an important moment such as this the Alpha Protocol/Dragon Age way, by letting you try to talk Gerrel and Legion down, citing your achievements for peace, with the Para/Rene options being shortcuts to victory, just as with Tali's trial where you could achieve the same result as the Para/Rene options by simply having done enough good deeds.
