Look people, obviously Jessica Merizan is a well meaning person, who has no clue about the ending of the game. She also suggests that they landed on Earth because the relay was too far away. This is impossible, as Earth fails to have two moons.

But that's no moon...

A thought:

Joker flies down, rescues your crew but NOT shepard, then flies off?

what?

He was too close to Marauder Shields, Joker couldn't risk the normandy against that diabolical mother****er

I just... I never even thought about this.

God..just....

WHAT THE CRAP ARE THESE "WRITER" *cough* WRITER'S THINKING!?!?

So stupid. How could you make me cry with Mordin on Tuchanka then do this....it's just......the stupid it hurts!

Well, that wasn't the same writer, for one.

To be fair, Hackett is either dead or himself pulled back too.

Or he's at some odd angle where you can't see him from the Crucible. Hackett was guarding it the whole time so he either got owned or fled while three measly cruisers defended it.

Which is kind of moot because no one was attacking the Crucible anyway.

Hackett is alive...You *hear* him over the comms a whole 3 minutes before tu rning it on. He also knows you are alive. He and the rest of the fleet are still protecting the crucible,  normandy has no reason to hit FTL. The wave even passes harmlessly over the fleet, as it's still fighting reapers.

Then that means he just flies off, lol.

Yup. But don't think that I'm happy with all this either. I want a brighter ending for Shepard and Tali. And I'd prefer not to destroy EDI and the Geth to get it

If you watch the space-scape, there's a trio of dreadnaughts circling the crucible, a pair of sovereign class reapers, and some various other things that don't explode.

Also, if you stand around long enough without making a choice, you get the message "The Crucible was destroyed" and need to reload or quit, just like being defeated.

maybe its because the space magic would of seriously F'd up the Normandy because the Normandy had the Reaper IFF?

But the reaper IFF wasn't a crucial part of the Normandy. It only broadcasted the signal to pass through the Omega-4 relay. While the destroy ending supposedly does destroy all tech that the galaxy relied on, it doesn't make sense for the other two endings why the ship got downed.

the second moon is actually Mars. the reapers pushed it in closer to act as a screen/stageing ground

No, because from the time you enter the beam to when the crucible fires, it's about 10-20 minutes. There is no way Hacket would've said pull back, he was THERE he even said that the crucible wasn't doing anything.

from twitter. hold any water?

A.  I don't think he would have fled.  The people who could actually talk any sense into him were all out in the field.  Maybe EDI on the ship.  But that is creative interpretation of a characters actions-and I won't argue.

B.  So, before he decided to follow orders, he swooped down within spitting distance of harbinger and several other reapers (more then one dreadnought iirc) picked up my squad mate/s that were part of the charge that were magically free of wounds.  THEN high talied it out of there?  Not to mention that after being in full on combat that long the ship would have built up so much waste heat that using the stealth drive would be suicidal at best.

Really?   Seriously?  Who's grabbing at straws now?

I can see it now-fate of squad DLC "LI : Joker what are you doing here?  Joker : I'm not leaving without you!  LI : Well fortunatly for you Harbinger just took the F off!  But don't worry there was a transport right next to the conduit the whole time-just meet us in orbit next to the 600 parked reaper destroyers.  Joker : Ok-cool)

Bloody hell.  The RBG ending is so creatively bankrupt as to actually believe it.  It has to be bunk.

It was the first thing I noticed.. It makes zero sense.

Who is Jessica Merizan and why does she not understand that there is no "pulling back" from a battle where all of the chips are down? Literally; everyone knew that if the Crucible didn't work then they are SOL.

No chance there's an untold story going on between Shepard's trek towards the beam and the actual implementation of the Catalyst? Could definitely be an interesting DLC if you got to play as Joker, and figured out what really happened.

Yeah that makes even less sense than the crap we have now. Pretty much confirmed that she is as in the dark as we are

Even if she's right about the retreat (she's not - that was Hammer, not Sword pulling back), there's still a massive teleportation fail: my squad with me rushing the Citadel ended up on the Normandy somehow.

She also claimed that while the system was destroyed in arrival by the explosion of the mass relay, the mass relay explosions in the endings didn't destroy the systems they were in. Why?

I do like the charge though. The idea of it. How the fate of the galaxy has come down to this one run toward a beam of light. I can just imagine all these soldiers screaming as they run toward it.

Yes. The charge and its immediate aftermath were one of my favorite moments of the entire game.

But then again...:
User: Is it too much to hope for that Shepard fights off Indoctrination, wakes up and ends up back with his crew? :(
Jessica Merizan: no - and don't let anyone tell you otherwise

Also got to love how Joker looks behind himself as if he were driving a car when escaping the explosion.

I thoroughly believe this was a scripting/coding error.

I have to agree here, I don't know why everyone is hanging off every tweet she gives.  Shes a nice lady and she wants to be good at her job, you shouldn't expect her to be some arbiter of all me3 knowledge.

Agreed, it's more interaction then we have been getting.  Should be thankful for that(well I don't twit, so I get very little).  My rant was not be taken as a personal attack.  Just disagreeing about the validity of that explanation.
