This of course, may just be her opinion. But likely this is a PR response.

The "Full Retreat" order is given by some ground commander on Earth. I believe he also says they're pulling back to regroup, but my memory is hazy on this.
If this order applies to the entire galactic fleet, then how is Hackett there to bring in the Curcible? Do they all turn around and come back later? And Joker decides not to come with them?

Besides, it's totally out of character - Joker wouldn't just fly off without Shepard, he'd ignore a direct order if necessary.

As far as I'm concerned they just screwed up. Joker was originally suppose to pick everyone up. They cut that section and didn't adjust the ending to fit, simple as that.
Agreed.

So that explosion happen while we were running to the conduit?
LMAO.
Clearly! He was pulling back from an eplosion that wasn't going to happen for five minutes while forces on the GROUND were in retreat!
It also still doesn't explain your squad (which you see clear as day) getting on the Normandy; you don't see THEM pulling back, and they (nor Joker) would ever willfully abandon Shepard. Look what Joker's done for Shepard already. Seriously? You want us to believe because they're ordering ground forces to fall back the he went off to leave the Commander? He certainly had time to get everyone else. And they've followed Shepard into and through worse. They'd never leave the Commander. Eff what the brass says (heck, they're known for going against said brass for Shepard. ME1, anyone?)
No. It holds no water. You're not going to be able to trick us by saying, "Ooh, but the extras said in the background so..." It doesn't fly. Give a REAL explenation or change the damn crap ending.

Still don't get why people get upset at her answers. Its almost as if they've never seen her job title or something.
because no matter what reply they get fans will still complain regardless like if they themselves wrote the game

The Normandy didn't go through the relay. Jessica already confirmed that. It was just an FTL jump. Still this makes little sense. I don't understand cutting dialog that would allow us to make sense of the course of events.
A FTL jump to WHERE, exactly? There aren't any other star systems near Sol.
And it still doesn't explain why he'd leave Shep for dead.

Sword was still fighting and when on the Citadel Hammond tells you the Crucible isn't firing.
As he was still there to confirm it. There was no retreat order for Sword.
