 First playthrough, playing a dwarf commoner. I talked to Lady Dace and agreed I'd look for her father, and the guards let me onto the Deep Roads. However, the Aeducan Thaig is completely empty when I enter, and I can't get past the big rock slide/dirt hill blocking the path. What am I missing? Yes, you may call me a "dolt" if necessary.

I found Lord Dace with no problem. He was standing outsidethe place you find the shield in the dwarf noble origin.

But if you realy cant find him you can still go back and help Harrowmont instead, not that it realy matters because in the end you can choose either one for king, even if you supported the other earlier.

you are checking the map aren't you? for little paths?

Thought I'd frisked it rather thoroughly -- there were places that looked like they should be paths, but I'd just run into the wall like a drunk zombie...



I took a break for lunch (yum, Thanksgiving leftovers) and will try again. Hopefully it was a temporary (and embarrassing, now that I've posted this. Ah, ego.) glitch.
