Wait, people actually WANTED another "epic boss fight"?

Some people would have liked a final boss fight, maybe some wouldn't have. All that matters is if the ending is fixed at this point, I don't think a final boss would be a terrible thing here.

I do think final bosses CAN be a huge thing when done right. The ending of every MGS (especially 3 and 4) were MADE by their final boss fights, so they're not always bad.

I really though when anderson died (or seems to died) it was the end, and I was like "this is it, ME is finished, Shepard is dying, but he saved them all. He never expected to survive anyway".
That's really sad the next thing you have is starchild who destroy EVERYTHING. My advice, once anderson die, quit the game.
That's how ME ends for me. Once Shepard's at that console, power button time and fade to black.

I know Halo 2 did.

It wasn't terrible, and it was better than baby space terminator, but the final battle sequence could have been a lot better and more meaningful. It felt like it was leading up to something, then it just sort of sputtered to a stop.

The whole POINT of the mass effect series?
Choice. Give people a renegade interrupt to avoid it, otherwise, we can fight it.

Have to agree with this. As for boss fight, i do not care about it one way or another - would've liked a well-structured ending though...

Totally could have gotten behind fighting the TIM!Reaper....if he was possessed by Harbinger.

I'm missing this whole "Marauder Shields" thing. Someone care to catch me up?
The Marauder right before you go to the Citadel up the magic beam. The point is that he died trying to save us from The Ending. (And yes, it does deserve capitalisation)

Going inside a reaper again would have been cool. Maybe see more of the flesh-y guts inside one.Flyprdu wrote...
What is with all this hipster ire against final bosses? Harbinger is obviously the final boss... And you have to figure out a way to deal with him. Either with a weapon, or better yet, inside of him.
You can count me down as PRO FINAL BOSS.

Or just beef up Marauder Shields, and have a confrontation with him before reaching the final level.

If they're going to release another epic boss battle with future downloadable content, it better be epic, and not a repeat of ME2. Though I will get a good laugh if the third boss is a T-1000.
Final boss should be Harbinger's core.
Something completely alien in nature that we have never seen before.
Kind of like how the human reaper was meant as a core, Harbinger's core would be similar, but from the first alien race conquered. And completely fully functional, unlike the baby human reaper.
