Okay, so I have only ever judged the relationship bar by the little thing that moves up and down it. I know when its in the white, it is a good thing...but I have heard people talk about 100% love, adore, or neutral...ummm how can you tell the difference.

Those are just the names of the different levels of the bar. Apparently on the PC you can just hover over the bar to see which one you're at, but to my knowledge it's not possible on the console versions (ummm, or I just never found out how).

oh okay, yeah I play it on the 360 so I guess...that would explain that. Hmmm I wonder how people can say 100% love, adore, neutral. I wanted to get it for the PC...but it would mean buying a whole new PC...and mine is only a year old. So sad.

I know what you mean, I'm on the 360 too... I wish my computer was better, the PC version is so much better. Oh well, it's still awesome on the 360.

I agree...it could be worse...I think what I am most frustrated about is not having access to the toolset

Yeah, not having mods is going to suck, particularly if the modding community really takes off and ends up like the ones for Bethesda games. It would be interesting if Bioware released some mods of their choosing for free download for console users.

Yeah, I would like that too. Also, I don't know why we shouldn't be able to have a toolset online and access it for the 360. Because obviously you have to have XBOX Live to keep your profile updated...and Bioware wont even let you respond to the spoiler forums unless you register your game...so you would think there should be a way to do whatever you want toolset wise on your computer and then access it from your XBOX or whatever.

Essentially it works like this, the bar goes from -100 to 100 and:
- either a character is friends-only, which means they will only ever view you as friends, no relationship possible. In this case they go from neutral -> warm -> friendly on the positive side, and something like hostile -> hate on the negative.
- or, a character is eligible for romance with you, in which case they will go from neutral to interested -> adore -> love. If you break up with a character you have a romance with, they will (usually) be converted to the "friend" meter instead.

Oh okay, so people were just making it sound more complicated then it actually was?

Essentially yes. It's really just that on the PC you can easily tell whether a character can still be romanced or not.

Funny that the Morrigan will only Adore in her romance but admit feeling love at the end. (Then again, never took her to bed until the end anyway.)
