Your whining is garbage, and quite frankly blind people like you don't deserve any new endings but if bioware does decide to add more endings via dlc I hope they charge you through the nose for it.

You're being kind of a jerk.  So, by your logic, you should pay for the DLC for me. :)

So your calling fans, who waited years too to finsh their Shepard's story, only to have those years go down the crapper, "Children"?

If you become so obsessed with it....yes.

And go down the crapper? Because you didn't like the ending? I can see how having a favorite character die or an unwanted event happening souring the experience...but that doesn't invalidate the entire story or everything else.

At no point is a reader/player entilted to get the story and ending he wants.

Yes, ME3's writing is sucky. Yes the ending is sloppy. But that hardly destroys years of my life...

It sucks, and you want a different ending (you're not the only one. If it were up to me I'd rewrite the entire ME2 AN D 3)...but it's just a game people...just a game.

disgusted with the so called fans who moaned.

a game of this quality gets ragged on by internet children ?,
makes me sick to my stomach..

@Bioware...thanks,quite a ride.
make no more, because if this so called "furor" is the reward for all this work..well bollox to them, ungrateful spoiled children, give them nothing more as they deserve nothing.

@Children..,<deleted> you dont even deserve comment.

this "endings" fracas is nothing more than a reaction to a great series ending by paedantic people with nothing in thier lives better to focus on.

couldn't have said it better myself...these people should be ashamed of the way they've been over reacting.

Dear OP:

You liked the game. Good for you.

I liked it, too! ... Until the last five minutes.

And now I can no longer enjoy my favorite game series of all time.

It was that bad.

In five minutes, everything the game meant to me was destroyed.

And it wasn't sad.

It wasn't powerful.

It wasn't thought-provoking.

It was just... dumb.

Unless their goal was to invalidate the entire series, in which case it was genius.

I'm tired and I don't feel like ranting anymore, but just poke around a little--you'll find a solid list as to why the endings sucked. Several lists, in fact. All well-written, all reasonable, all more than just fanwangst.

Yeah, some people are getting way too wangsty over this, but it's because they're upset.

I know I'm upset, at least.

the rollercoaster comes to a very slow end after a wild ride

did you dislike the ride ?

or just sad because its over ?

You do if they've been damaged. The ending certainly damaged this game. We've seen multiple fan written endings that have polled significantly higher than the actual ones (which again, is pulled pretty much verbatim from a 12 year old game, color coding and all). When that happens, something is *wrong*.

Funny you don't dismiss my claims of false advertisement.  The product was advertised as having radically different endings which they weren't.  It was advertised as bringing closure to the franchise and not leaving questions unanswered when if fact it was being developed specifically to do that purpose.  He said there wouldn't be definitive A, B.C ending scenarios and there were.  The ending to the game was supposed to be based from your decisions through the previous three games and it wasn't.

BAh...what a load of bull.

"Key philosophical themes"... has it occured to this guy it may exaclty be the point? I find it refreshing actually that love and understanding can't fix everything.
I'd love it even more if hte exact theme in that articles were utterly trashed. I'm sick and tired of htem. Every friggin story has them.

So, if i am a game developer and if i didnt like the ending at all, does that make me right? if so, well, changing RGB values does not make the endings different.

And the ending we got was completely original and fitting to the series? It was fitting to DeusEx back when I was a freshman in high school when Clinton was still president. If I had wanted to replay that ending, I'd have played DeusEx.

false advertisment is just a reason to return a game.

if theres one thing games these days dont do is truthful advertising,if they did i wouldnt have mafia 2 and DA2 rotting in my cupboard.

so pardon me for ignoring that line of reasoning as game content is never written in stone until after release..

Seriously, can we not have ONE positive thread without the whiners and trolls? NOT ONE?!

Jesus chrispies.

Not everyone thinks like you guys do. Get over it! That's what you say to us in YOUR threads. Stay out of ours.

Can't return the game in many cases, especially if you want an actual refund and not just store credit.

The content was finished quite a while before its release, the game was printed and boxed weeks before release in order to stock stores adequately on the 6th. Do you know how retail works?

Did you *read* the OP post? If you're looking for positivity and a lack of whining, it certainly wasn't going to be *this* thread.

Why is it that anyone who is complaining about the ending or some other bug or issue a whiner or a troll?

You liked the game with all it's faults... good for you. Many more of us... considering all the backlash... did not. Why does that make us whiners or trolls?
