I like the ending but dislike my squad mates so I couldn't tell you how they end up there, sorry!

perhaps someone who dislikes the ending but likes the squad mates could answer that question!

you make no sense

thats because you are just looking to start an arguement.

which also makes no sense,so i ignored you.

Funny you don't dismiss my claims of false advertisement.  The product was advertised as having radically different endings which they weren't.  It was advertised as bringing closure to the franchise and not leaving questions unanswered when if fact it was being developed specifically to do that purpose.  He said there wouldn't be definitive A, B.C ending scenarios and there were.  The ending to the game was supposed to be based from your decisions through the previous three games and it wasn't.

false advertisment is just a reason to return a game.

if theres one thing games these days dont do is truthful advertising,if they did i wouldnt have mafia 2 and DA2 rotting in my cupboard.

so pardon me for ignoring that line of reasoning as game content is never written in stone until after release..

And if you didn't call them out on it you're just letting them get away with it.

not really,i did call them out...
yet those games are still rotting in the cupboard.

but i do now vet games before buying them.

which has saved me a fortune.

Through what channels?  If it's just on the message boards or e-mail of course you'd get blown off.   Now if you tried going to the FTC and the BBB that would be a different story.  If you did that with proper evidence and a good argument then the system failed.

So a bioware person really said that? Sounds like an admission that there are holes there, perhaps purposely. Would love to just hear how they fill in the gaps. Ats good news

I have not heard or seen ANY post from Bioware here yet saying that this wasn't exactly what they intended. If someone has, do show us.

Left us gaps and an obvious answer to the riddle already.

What does disliking squad mates have to do with anything? If you're saying that I should be happy that my squad ate ended up there and not someplace worse, I am. Just wanna know how he/she got there

*Argument* as in a discussion involving differing points of view; debate ; a process of reasoning; series of reasons

You know, a flow of reasoning back and forth?

You have been steadfastly avoiding actually directly addressing most of the points made and cherry picking things out or going completely elsewhere.

One of my posts you quoted for example. You took one tiny little piece of a larger argument (again: as in a process of reasoning) and took it somewhere completely different, rather than actually addressing the point I was trying to make.

You're basically evading and redirecting, not actually addressing or discussing anything.

You haven't had a logic/philosophy class ever have you?

And are you *really* going to tell me, with your OP post, that you weren't intending to start an argument, with name-calling and accusations being the primary content of that post?

I knew what he was going to say without even opening the thread.

It's a form of natural selection me thinks.

Majority think ( A ), the logical conclusions, discovered with hive mind mentality of trail and error.
Minority think ( B ) , internal mechanisms strive to find purpose/acknowledgement to extreme levels due to obsessive subconscious self-reflection over their rank in the human pack. Taking stance ( B ) is a way to bypass norms to create an alpha stance on an idea which has already been proven - unfounded - but they continue down this path of doom and destruction anyway.

Let’s say we move this into real world scenario. End of the world 'food menu'.

Majority eat ( A ) tastes good, is known to be healthy.
Minority eat ( B ) polar The Majority opinion deliberately, eat food that tastes bland, potentially a carcinogen.

Everyone who sided with The Minority, acted out different for the sake of 'being' different and all died of cancer. While the majority lived on, until a new minority splintered off and the cycle is infinitely repeated until the human race became extinct.

How ironic. A drug-addict is talking down to people.

Maybe you just enjoyed the ending because... you were... on drugs?

makes me sick to my stomach..

-Gee wiz. Your definition of "quality" isnt at all subjective nor is the very term "quality" subjective. And "internet children"? See the above.

.well bollox to them, ungrateful spoiled children, give them nothing more as they deserve nothing.

-Inflammatory, derogative, typecasting, condescending, patronising etc

this "endings" fracas is nothing more than a reaction to a great series ending by paedantic people with nothing in thier lives better to focus on.

-Do I really need to keep going? :?

You see no name calling/accusations in there at all?

I see several. You're calling anyone who doesn't like the endings those things. sounds like name calling to me.

I think some people are taking abit too far, but the endings are still pretty bogus. I'm not even against the actual choices myself, the endings for them were just rushed and confusing. No one can say other wise, it's pretty damn obvious.

Dear OP: sadly, you posted in "no spoilers" area, so we'll have to do this by touch.

What I would like to ask you is the following: Can you honestly and without any reservations claim that Mass Effect 3 with current ending is better than the game would be, had it ended approximately 10 minutes earlier after the pre-elevator scene?

The ending isn't that bad if you take it out of context and watch it as is (other than some things not making sense), but turns into a disaster if you look at it from the perspective of the game. For more detailed analysis, we'll have to move this into the spoiler section.

First of all, be more polite. Lots of people can take your comment as an offense.

On this forum, anyone can express his personal opinion about the endings, but you must respect the others opinions too.

And here, nearly no one is saying that the game in self is bad, the game is amazing, Bioware has done an amazing work. The real problem is that the endings are out of place.

As a customer that has expended hundreds of euros on a product, i can expect the product i paid for, can't i?
