The letting the Geth die scene is pretty intense, shooting Legion...over...and over...and over.. and over...

Because you realize he finally gets to live his creed. "All life is precious."

1. The cure of the Krogan genophage
2. The Quarian-Geth peace
3. The ending

Strangely enough the most powerful moment to me was when Grunt went charging into battle when I was on my first playthrough(wanted a 100% paragon one at that). I wasn't a Grunt fan at all really, but that scene with him and the Rachni had me at the edge of my seat.
yea i agree
but the 2 scenes that made me almost ball badly was mordin and thanes death
tears and stuff were falling out

- Liara's farewell gift. I didn't romance her so I got the one where she puts her head on your shoulder. I don't know why, but it blew me away.
- Mordin's death. The scene where you betray and kill him is actually better executed than the paragon one, with little touches like Shepard chucking his pistol away in disgust after shooting Mordin.
- Grunt, definitely during his "final" stand, but I like the scene where he decides to buy Shepard time, and he just sort of stands there for a few seconds and looks at you, then tells you to go.
- If you choose the Quarians on Rannoch and Tali kills Legion. "Please, this is not justice." I loved the moment when I realized he was truly self-aware.
- The ambient conversation in front of Purgatory after the Citadel coup, with the human girl and her Salarian friend.
- Thane's death, and his prayer for Shepard.
- Telling Miranda on the Citadel that you don't want to continue the relationship, and her dying in Sanctuary. Both scenes were pretty rough.

for heartwarming we have this:
Tali:Whatever happens... if we don't make it...
Shepard:You worry too much.
Tali:I love you.
Shepard:Keelah Se'lai.
for tear jerking there' mordin's heroic sacrifice. I love the way he went out singing.
for awesome, seeing the combined fleets of the entire galaxy come charging through the Charon relay.

Mordin's death. Him singing his song trying to keep himself calm knowing he was going to die really got to me.
Legion's death got to me the most. He always seemed like this innocent child, completely loyal to Shepard. Not to mention the part where you enter the geth consensus just made me hate the quarians for what they did to the geth when they first made them. I contemplated just saying screw them and taking the geths side but I did the Paragon thing.
My favorite scene of all though was Grunt's 'last stand'. The sad music and him losing the fight had me 100% convinced he was going to die, and then when he stormed off the cliff with the rachni I started to really tear up. Then he comes out alive covered in blood and I was so happy, instantly made him one of my favorite characters. What a tough SOB.

Mordin dying, the genophage cure being dispersed, Grunt seemingly "sacrificing himself" to be a badass Rachni slayer, the Crucible being built and Shepard's fleets arriving at Earth and engaging the Reapers.
And Legion dying to save his people.

Shooting Mordin in the back is sad, watching Legion and Thane die is sad, but those deaths occur in the course of pursuing the larger picture of winning back Earth and stopping the reapers. To me, both Samara and her daughters' deaths were so pointless, it really borders on evil. I don't think I can let Samara shoot herself in any future playthroughs.

-the child and earth being destroyed in the beginning. But the ending removed everything from it.
-the discussion with Anderson in the end. Mostly because I though it was the ending. Now, well the ending also broke it.

"I know Tali but thank you."
It so powerful because it all came full circle..

Both scenes just left me a crying mess, but for two different reasons.
Mordin's was the longer, drawn out death of a hero, but Thane's just blew me away in one line of dialogue "His last wish was for you." Didn't see that coming at all...just caught me off-guard.
Legion's actually confused me because I forgot what the question wasLooking back, it was awesome.
Legion's was potent just because how fast it goes from Legion ok, to him falling over, there is no foreboding.

Sobbing like a child.
Same here. Garrus is awesome and that final talk... Well. I can just say that i've never ever been so moved by anything before. Not a book, not a movie not music not anything.
And also the cut dialogue when Shepard and Anderson is talking was very powerful. Can belive they cut it.

You forget the imagery...
When the missions on Ranoach Start it is night time ... When Legion falls over the Sun is rising... and he falls to knees looking at it..

I felt like I was really making a difference, like I really had achieved something important. No manly tears were spent, but I was close.

I played as regengade, and I still allow Mordin to prove it had to be him.Der Estr Bune wrote...
I took Thane's death harder than Mordin's, personally. I played paragon, so I didn't get the same ending, but something about praying alongside Kolyat, and finding out that I was praying for myself?
Manly tears.
1)Mordin's death
2)Thane's death followed by the prayer book reading with a Renegade female shep. I am not sure how the scene plays out with a male shep or paragon shep yet. All I know is how my femshep pushed a guy of the window on the mission to recruit Thane.
3)Grunt holding the line
4)Trifecta bad day. If you play the game long enough, and you forget to tell Kelly Chambers to change her name, you can get Mordin's death, Thane's death, and learn that Kelly was shot in the face
5)Miranda's death
6)Killing Kei Lang. (lol, Thane stating how Kei should be embarass about how terminal ill Drell stop him. Lol, not only was he terminal ill, he was weak from running. Shep talking trash to Kei during their fight. You are still running.
7)All the cameos were great, and being able to speak with them before the final battle was great too.
8)Garrus and you talking smack at the Citadel about who was the best shot..
9)Telling Garrus that even if you are in heaven, you will always have his back.
