I'd love to have male quarians as well (preferably with a new skillset, as quarian engineer currently sucks!), and there are no apparent lore restrictions. If anything, there ought to be far more males than female quarian on the field.

On the topic of lore, however, there are reasons we don't see female turian (conspicuously missing from the games aside from Garrus' flexible fling), krogans, and salarians on the front lines. Not saying BioWare shouldn't add them as DLC, but it would not be believable to have highly valuable krogan/salarian women in a Special Forces program...

I meant having to pay more as DLC. It just would have been nice if they were in full release instead of having to pay more money for something that should have came standard.

Male Quarians should have came standard. If they could do male and female humans, they damn well were able to do male and female Quarians.
That's why we should get them before any other new race. Because we should have had them to begin with.

Apart from Turian, I would love to play as a male Quarian. And since the models already exist, I see no reason why they weren't included. Hope they do fix this in a future DLC.

Yeah I dont know why they only put in female quarians. Male salrians only make sense but quarians have proven that both sexes fight.

I think the best way to do this, would be to simply change the Quarian Infiltrators into male character models and voices.

Makes the most sense (Imitating Quarian Soldiers, because they aren't frontline fighters), while leaving the Engineer to be female, as is Iconic because of Tali.

Yeah it makes no sense that there are not male Quarians... Turian females should be in war too they are just as common as Turian males.

This makes sense.   Quarian Soldiers, what did they call themselfves - Special Marines, or something (ME2)?
