Can Quarians be biotics? Maybe they could pull Male Quarian Soldier and Male Quarian Sentinel instead of just making them male version of already existing female Quarians with the same power sets
We've never seen a Quarian with biotics... Salarians are something like 90% male population figures, females are extremely precious. Any Salarians with Biotics are kept back on the homeworld for scientific purposes because they are also rare...
Still, female Turians are around, I mean Garrus had a fling with one. Apart from that tiny mention though we don't know what they are like.
Hanar and Elcor would rock so hard... I got so excited about going to the Elcor home world... And then there is no mission at all

To begin with, what class would they be? Since Quarian biotics are rare, that leaves us with Quarian "my suit is leaking" Soldier...

I can't believe they aren't in the game already.

I honestly can't bring myself to play the female Quarian. Need male Quarian please, even if they're identical to the female as far as powers go.

There was a mention on the front page I believe of a 'Gender Toggle' function so they wouldn't have to change class just change gender at the click of a button, I would be in favour of that instead of new classes.
Although it's not a necessity I wouldn't mind being able to play a male Quarian as when the game came out in my head I had a male quarian sniper as the character I wanted to play, though female snipers seem to if anything be more fun to play as.
So yeah, Gender Toggle function +1.

What's wrong with having a different playstyle Soldier/Sentinel? We see too much of the "high health+shields" rubbish, I'd like to see a male quarian soldier and sentinel with lower average health and more of a focus on a different area of the defensive role. Not all soldiers and sentinels have to be high-health tanks.
I was hoping for a male quarian on release, to no such luck, then I hoped that they would listen to the fact that people want them and add them into DLC, no such luck... again. If they do another DLC pack, paid for or free, I'd love for a quarian pack, with weapons of Quarian design (SMG (for the female Quarian buff) and AR (for the Male Quarian combat classes) are what I hope for)with themes like the Arc Pistol, combined with Male Quarians, and two maps, one on Rannoch itself and another on a Geth orbital staton/dreadnought. That all put together and tied with a knot would please me to no ends.

There is no such thing in the game. Adding such feature makes little sense as humans already occupy two positions and - other than Quarians - there is no other race which would benefit from "gender toggle".ChapDev wrote...
'Gender Toggle'
It would be much easier to add male Quarians as a new characters. Seeing Quarians already have two of the three possible (non-biotic) classes covered - and most players would probably like a new species / class combination than yet another QI / QE - that leaves us with Quarian Soldier.
Seeing Quarians generally dont fare well in traditional combat, I think the Soldier position would be better used by something like Vorcha or some heavier / more durable Geth platform.
Not everyone is that enthusiastic about Quarians which means we are going to see more varied DLCs.GroverA125 wrote...

There are already two maps on former Quarian worlds and if the Arc Pistol is anything to go by, we dont really need more weapons of Quarian design...

Sounds like that'd be fun, but I'd be happy with a gender toggle too. I still don't understand why humans have two character slots instead of a simple gender toggle..

Its much more simple system - each character has its own model, voice etc., it lets people to create multiple builds early in the game (remember, humans are the only race unlocked from the start) ... and BioWare seems to be biased toward humans.verisimo wrote...

The Earth-clans are all racist.

They feel totally unique, not just a "let's spread two powers over four characters in one class" type of build. (I'm looking at YOU, Sticky Grenades/Cryo Blast.)
If male Quarians were relegated to Soldier/Sentinel, I would love to see Bioware step up their game the way they did for these two races.
