And by that I mean I can't even twitch. I went to the bridge to talk to Joker and EDI. I walked up behind Joker and spoke to him. It was not a cutscene talk just him replying to me. But then I couldn't move. It's as if Im not even touching my keyboard. I've quick saved and quick loaded and also completely restarted the game. Nothing is helping.

Happened to me too; I had to reload an earlier save from before  I entered the bridge. The save from the bridge itself was also glitched.

argh having the same problem. I had been overwriting saves and my only choice at this point is to start over? UGGGGGGGGGGGH

You should have a Auto-save from when you entered the Normandy last.

There is one little spot on the bridge where if you try to walk up to EDI from her left, you can get stuck on this lip that is there. I have done it 3 times now!

there are multiple spots you can get stuck:
back left of edi, at the corner of her chair
left and slightly back from joker, about half-way between joker and the beginning of the airlock
next to joker on the left,... (only got there cos i escaped the trap and then ran away from the spot i was stuck in,... just to get stuck again)

Yeah, this happens to me too nearly every time I go to talk to EDI/Joker. I've found that constantly running around while listening to the ambient dialogue prevents this from happening, but it's annoying as hell.

Had that happen to me too. Fortunately, I was able to talk to edi and start a cut scene that dropped me back behind joker able to move. Very annoying.

The Unreal 3 engine is famous that. Quick save thankfully is a nice new feature that helps as long as you don't quick save on a corner or glitched area. The food machine on the citadel embassies did that to me too.
