While engaged in the final battle in London, there is a cut scene that shows an Asari giving commands to open fire. Wrex is there and a Turian with a grenade launcher. When the order is given to open fire on a reaper, there is a dazzling light show followed by the destruction of those who somehow thought that rifle fire was a good idea when engaging a Reaper. It seems quite clear that the Asari, Wrex and just about everyone there is wiped out by the Reaper. Just before the smack down, the Asari say's, "we need air support! where are my reinforcements" or something along those lines. Then Boom!

Question: is this occurring because of something I have NOT done correctly. My EMS is 3556. I didn't destroy / wasn't aware I could destroy the first Reaper on Thesia. I cured the genophage, siding with Wrex. Any recommendations, or is it just scripted this way for the sake of "Oooo" and "Ahhh"... He, he.Image IPB

No it always happens. Believe me I cried BS and checked. They always get beamed by the Reaper.

I don't think it's Wrex, just some random Krogan, because Wrex can die. That scene pisses me off, they just commit suicide by Reaper, it doesn't know they are there, why attack something you cannot beat that isn't going to attack you?

They were trying to tie up the Reaper so the Missile team could have a clear shot at it, that's why she's calling out for the back-up when nothing happens.

As a soldier myself, I see no point to that tactic. Maybe against a conventional opponent, but the reapers would just huskify the bodies (the ones that were left) and create more problems for the resistance. To throw lives away like that just isn't smart which ruins the story impact they were trying to get. And the Arty was ****ed anyway, should have been there protecting the vehicles.
