Credits lost: 153k now. 2 Specter Kits and 1 Premium Veterans Kit.
Bioware points lost: 0

I love this game depsite the ending and these purchasing problems but seriously for all the people that have been losing Bioware points that they spent real money for and have still not been helped or compensated I am surprised no one has filed a class action lawsuit. This is crazy.

I did a recruit pack just to see whether I should chance buying a higher level pack again just now, and no surprise, ate my credits again. WTF! This has been going on for ten+ days now?

Edit: Apparently, I have magically unlocked the Asari Adept, so I assume this means at least some of the time we are getting the items (despite not being marked "New" in our inventory) even during purchase failure and the subsequent credit drain.

Bioware Points Lost: 120

I just got this on the Premium Veterans pack. Error comes up every time and it refuses to let me use my remaining 720 Bioware points; it's acting as if they are not there.

Quite frustrating. Waiting for Origin support to contact me to see if I can clear this up and you know.. spend the points I paid for, haha.

UPDATE: clearing out of the game a third time and reentering cleared up the issue. just can't tell if i got my rewards or not yet, didn't spot anything new yet... but coulda been upgrades and consumables.

I think that Bioware/EA has decided that they must push patches to all 3 platforms at once. It is common knowledge that both Microsoft and Sony hold up patches to insure that there are no problems that will compromise the security of their systems. PC's are open platforms therefore need no such certification process. This is why there were delays pushing patches for Skyrim to PS3 and Xbox 360 while no such delay existed on the PC. They have full control of the process. The reason why PC users don't have a patch yet is simply because of what I said above.

Are you sure that this is the case here joe? unless you've heard them stating this, then we can only speculate on that matter, though I hope that you are right.

A quick fix I just found, although I've only tried it once, is that when you go to purchase a pack and you notice it takes longer than the regular one second it normally takes to register and open one (implying impending failure and credit stealing), quickly alt+tab out of the game and force close it (e.g., right+click => close via desktop). After doing this, I was able to go back into the game, still had my credits, and opened a pack successfully.

Chat support said : "Prashant: As I have informed you its a known issue and when it will fix you will get your point back."

Even tho he promised me my credits back, also close to 500k credits lost, I doubt I get a single credit back when they fix this.

I've lost close to one million credits now that I'm buying more specter packs and when the bug pops up where it does not give you the pack and while it looks like you get the credits back, they are not there the next time you log in.

Now, it's pretty aggrivating having invested a lot of time into getting those credits and I can only imagine how angry I would be if I had put even more money into the game buying points to get those packs.

I'm looking for a sticky or official response/recognition that this is an issue, yet I cannot seem to find one- communication always helps. Try some please.

Bioware Points Lost: 0

Just adding on. Talked with an EA tech support person, while pleasant, they had no idea how to help me and just directed me here.

Edit: Lost another one. Seriously, BioWare, fix this.

Edit2: Still happening. It's been what, two weeks now?

Edit3: More lost packs. Just going to keep tallying them here.

They probably just did a google search while "Helping" you.

They've also mentioned we'll get our points back, I think they will only return bioware points, but not just normal credits because they can't see who lost what, besides what we are saying which we can't proof, however the transactions for bioware points can be checked.

Did you also notice how unprofesional the people in EA support chat are?
I know my English isn't perfect, but I'm not communicating for a living.

Those people are doing exactly that AND represent a company, yet I feel like I'm chatting with some asian salesman who barely speaks english and doesn't have correct punctuation nor bothers to use capitals...

Had the same thing happen to me when trying to buy the advanced veteran pack (or whatever it's called) with some Bioware points. Had a very helpful Origin Chat rep refund the points, though. I think they'll refund Bioware points, but they wouldn't have the ability to refund creds.

How the heck did you manage to do that? They told me they couldn't refund anything(BioWare points included) and to post here

I just got a rep to refund me the Bioware points, but it to A LOT of pushing... He tried telling me to wait a few days and see what happens...

So why have there been 0 official answers, statements, something fro Bioware?? What a garbage organization to act as if nothing is happening...

That's what they are telling me right now. I contacted them before via email, a rep told me to wait, then I lost more credits and went to live chat with a rep, he also told me to wait a bit and assured me that they are not just telling me to screw off. He said they will fix this issue and then contact me. I will wait a bit, if this isn't fixed I will keep contacting them until I get a refund.

I think that they'd better fix it quick, as the pile of complaints is just getting larger and larger and will eventually will be hard to refund all of the Bio Points/credits. Also, someone said that people can file a case against Bioware. He is right, but I suppose that the judge will also inspect the company's proceedings in issue. If they fix it and refund everything then there is no case, but if they take a long time, or they fix it but not refunding the Bioware points, people may have a case.

Just my 2 cents though.

I'll add my name to this. The EA servers aren't saving anything I do now - weapons, character upgrades etc. No purchases are going through either, I've lost 10k credits.

Is working for me right now, and the past half hour. Seems like there's no telling when the servers are properly function and when they're not, I'd suggest trying a purchase with a Recruit Pack first - if it works then it's safe.

Happened to me twice IN A ROW, yesterday night.
66k credits gone and no new items (I keep a spreadsheet to control this stuff since the first time it happened a few days ago). So very sad
