Bioware points lost: 160

This is really crap, I keep entering the store over and over again but I'm just getting the "purchase failed to process" nonsense. According to a few posts I've seen if I exit the game I'll lose those Bioware points for good?
Is something being done to fix this? Seriously, two weeks or more this has been going on, people are losing credits/money and there's been nary a peep from Bioware or EA about it. Seems the only way to find out about this bug is for it to actually happen to you.
Is it really too much to ask that they take down the store or even make an announcment of some kind?
EDIT:
I got in touch with EA support through live chat and when I explained the issue I got my Bioware points back! But instead of just refunding the 160 that I lost trying to buy the Spectre pack, I got a full 400 points! And it only took around 10-15 minutes.
Needless to say, I was pretty damn happy.
