Buying a recruit pack to see if it's "safe" to buy doesn't seem to work anymore. Just tried it, bought a recuit pack and it went through. Then I bought the premium spectre pack... and it went poof.

This problem is getting a bit annoying, it also makes me not want to play MP anymore.

EA chat support guy issued me a refund but now I don't want to use my points because of this bug.

Lost: Too many to keep track of. At least 600k+.  Probably a lot more than that, in all reality.

Haven't actually had the problem in a while. They seemed to have fixed it or at least made it happen less frequently. Still though, between this bug and all my unlocks being wiped, I've probably lost at least 3m+ credits.

EA support won't refund anything either.  Contacted them half a dozen times.

Lost another attempted purchase, the first one in a few days. Premium Spectre Pack @ 99k. (19:15 EDT. 04/02/12). When I have the time I will recap all my losses with dates and times. I may be getting less patient in my old age, but I am also less tolerant of a company providing exceedingly poor service. The clock is ticking....

Well, it's good to know it's not just my game/ Origin account messing up. Within the past 24 hours I've gotten the error with a premium spectre pack and 4-5 normal spectre packs.

Is it only deducting the points, or are we still getting items and the game isn't displaying them to us?
