The store worked flawlessly for me last week.

But after getting hit with the negative points bug on my characters all my purchases are failing again.

Haven't lost my credits, yet, but can't buy the premium spectre pack. Who do we contact? EA or Bioware for support. I assume, EA?

Also, there's a bug.  Every time I go to the store to try to purchase, it fails, then my character has power up points again to use.  I keep getting more points every single time.  Endless points, but I don't level up.  It's weird.  So yeah, my character has max stats and points left over. Atm, like 33 points with maxed stats, lol.

Edit: I contacted EA.  Basically they apologized for the unfortunate circumstance and told me to hang in there while Bioware works on the issue. 

Don't spend those points people!  I feel bad for those who lost points, that blows.

Edit: Just went to multiplayer to check my credits, gone.  Daaaaaaaaaaaaang.

Fix it and give us back the lost credits.

I lost about 160K game credits and I tried to test it with leftover bioware points from previous games: I lost those too and they actually are equivalent to real money (what store could ask you to pay with no obligation to deliver?). This error is totally unacceptable and in breach of several customer protection laws. Besides, there is no link to report the error by e-mail and online chat has a ridiculous waiting time.

Here's a new one:
"Hosting player left" the instant when the special spectre pack pops up with all my goodies. Gone.

So now I'm up to 219,000 points.

Goodbye BioWare. Maybe I'll come back when you release some single player DLC. Honestly, half the value of multiplayer is progressing your character and taking on tougher opponents. It takes a long time to get those points just doing Bronze/Silver with random people, and it all flies out the window. You wrecked an otherwise great multiplayer game with this garbage.

Store just ate 240 bioware points (again, real money)! Still trying to find a reporting link. Guess no one has heard anything official? Add this to the other 180k credits; feeling 'peeved'....

At least 285 000 credits lost
2 specials at 33 000, 2 spectres at 60 000, and just lost a premium spectre at 99 000 :( That's over a span of about two weeks.

Currently trying to work things out with support, but so far they've told me that there's no record of my purchase and that I should just try it again. When I told them that I'm still out the 240 points and ask for a refund, they told me that all purchases are non-refundable. Not really sure how the "all purchases are final" rule applies when no purchase was made.

Ouch. Question though - if you lost one pack to the bug, why would you go and try to redeem the other?

I assume you've checked weapons after exiting the game to make sure you don't have a new/upgraded N7 Weapon (despite it not being marked as New)?

Possible work-around for this issue in general - Before making any purchases:

- Open the leaderboard, it'll likely Start on "Friends" click Next to go to Global stats, click Next to go to Regional stats, click Next to go back to Friends (so do a full loop).
- Open the store, wait for it to check for past purchases, click Back - do not buy anything yet.
- Open the leaderboard again, do the whole loop process again.
- Open the store, make your purchase.

It could be fluke I guess, but I have not had a single failed purchase since I started doing this.

the "advisor" disconnected me/forwarded me to another advisor so I couldn't respond. F***ing useless. Then he proceeds to say the exact same thing without even trying to resolve the issue or listening to what I'm saying. I think this is the same herpderper that I had last time I had bad support.

Had a long post, but in short: my case is solved through customer support. Only wanted back the BW points and I am very pleased that it got resolved. Makes it trustworthy to continue business in the future. I do think that untill there is a good log system/ back-up system in place the transfer system through BW points should be disabled.

Tried to purchase a premium spectre pack, and encountered this bug. Quite unfortunate that this exists. Looking forward to getting three hours of playtime resolved!

Edit: After not playing for a week due to losing a heft amount of time and credits, I decided to get back in because of resurgance. First purchase after two games was a loss. :(

Second Edit: This is just ridiculous now. I haven not been able to complete a purchase above recruit for nearly two weeks. I'd love to be able to play the new Resurgance classes and use the new weapons, BUT I AM UNABLE TO BECAUSE OF THIS STUPID BUG. Bioware, thank you for all of the suppoort and work you're putting into the game, but something is desperately wrong with the design structure to cause such a terribly irritating bug. Not to mention the COMPLETE LACK OF SUPPOORT from EA and complete lack of a response towards this thread. Will we be recieving the credits we lose back? Or are we just stuck in some sh!tty support cycle of EA cannot do anything and Bioware, who can do things, actually does nothing. Come on guys, get your sh!t together.

Until this is fixed, I'm afraid you've lost a customer. Its good to know that my investment of time is payed off particularly ineffectively.

How did you get your points back? They just kept telling me that they don't refund purchases and then stopped responding to me.

One possible solution I have found is to repeatedly purchase the same pack exit to the main menu go back into multiplayer and purchase the pack a few more times.  Then exit the game completely restart ME3 go back and look through your characters/weapons you should find that the package processed.  This method has worked for me however you may not see any results if for example you purchased a recruit pack and unlocked the female soldier when you already have the soldier class at level 20 and you have already unlocked all the customizable options for the female soldier.

Well I don't know the exact English terms but I've got legal insurance (rechtsbijstand) and am a member of the Dutch consumer union (consumentenbond). The latter can give advice to Dutch consumers to not purchase and if there are big groups of victims (especially amongst its members) they make a cause.

In the case of legal insurance with such small money amounts most of the time they just pay you (the monthly fees exceeds the lost money by far, small cases don’t pay off).  Sometimes they do pick up the small ones (but only if they can get the money back from the work hours they invest).

That is all I can do and of course the obvious result would be that they lose me a future customer and nothing would stop me from sharing my experience with the amount of proof on the interwebs.

To both these instances I send a copy of my mails, screenshot, e-mail from purchasing BW points (both provided by online banking and EA) a digital copy from my bank account that shows the transaction and some information on what has happened so far.

There is also something like a comity of differences (geschillencomissie), but I have no idea if there is one affiliated with EA.

I told customer support that I contacted them 3 weeks ago (which is true and of course I kept that e-mail too). For digital products a deadline for restoring your property within 1 week is acceptable. In general 2 weeks are given to normal stores. So 3 weeks exceeded the “legal” time for EA/ Bioware to solve my issue.

It is also important to note that in their first e-mail they also did not respond with a (acceptable) deadline for restoring my lost goods (which by no means are sold as temporary).

It was a polite, but also a firm e-mail I wrote to customer support as this whole ordeal felt as theft (hence my determination to get this solved). Before I got a reply from the CB or my insurance I got a decent reply from customer support restoring my Bioware points.

So in short:

1.    
Clear e-mails, staying polite, but clearly showing that “No” is not an option for me.

2.    
Giving EA and Bioware enough time to resolve my case.

3.    
Maybe my willingness to escalate my case (but in all honesty there is very little money involved so I would have gotten my money back, but I doubt it would have been from EA). I doubt this does anything, but show customer support that they have a serious costumer.

4.    
Making sure I got the purchases etc. documented (it should show in your banking history, which should be enough and in the Netherlands it counts as a legal voucher/ proof of purchase. So technically the mails are not even required.)

It was never needed for me to bring forth all the evidence to EA. Possibly the customer support that helped me is very capable of reading the logs and saw.. well this guy is right, let’s get it fixed. The issue is widespread and well known so they might also have improved their ability to simply resolve it (reading logs with BW spend etc.).

I can no longer accumulate credits, whenever I play a game, I earn credit points and when I go back to the multiplayer menu they are gone. As is any XP I have earned.

I must have lost about 50,000 credits just this hour and wasted all of that time trying to build a character up. I thought that maybe it was just a once or twice off bug but it is happening again and again...

I bought 34 premium spectre packs and the commendation pack today, every single one of those gave me the Failed to process error.

However, unlike before, once I've logged out and back in, I now always get the items. This bug is still annoying because of the time it takes to log out, back in and then check my weapons for upgrades. But I can at least spend my credits now without fear of losing them.
