Almost lost a premium specter pack but was finally able to test out the disconnect and it worked for me... the steps I did were:

1. Don't leave the game or the store when your pack fails.
2. unplug the internet cable from back of computer. The message that said your pack failed will turn into you lost connection to the game(still in store).
3. Reconnect.
4. Click ok on the message on the screen and it will then bring you back to the main menu where it automatically reconnects you.
5. Click on Multiplayer and once connected it will show you the pack you purchased.
Thats exactly what I did and it worked for me. Hopefully for others ^

This works for me. Still not acceptable though. Busy for a couple minutes to open 1 pack :(

Just tried this, it worked for me as well!

I will try this next time :)

not help, try two times.

A bit annoying really, cannot add bioware points and have tried contacting EA customer support 3 times...always get the standard "reboot your computer" nonsense.

Now this? credit purchases going awry...odd for such an established company. Guess they think they are "too big to fail"

cheers

put in a trouble ticket, but I am certain they will tell me to reboot or something silly like that given recent experiences with them.

cheers

That's a real nasty bug BW have there - the kind that really discourages you from bothering to play. I'm surprised they've left it in place this long.

2 premium spectre packs and a ton of veteran's packs and recruit packs (used them to "test" if the store would work after I lost 2 premium spectre packs).

When I started the multiplayer store up tonight, it worked fine, so I took a chance on another premium spectre pack. Failed...

Why don't they make some sort of announcement at least acknowledging the problem?

Also, since the problem started, I've been experiencing frequent (2-3 times per match) lag spikes. I have recorded my connection speed during/after said spikes - I live in a large canadian city and always clock at least 3mbps up and down - there were no connection issues on my end. I don't know if these problems are connected

Well this has happened to me as well now, I purchased the 1600 bioware points pack and 3 Sector packs failed, taking my Bioware points for NOTHING ow as I live in Australia contacting a US based support is troublesome at the best. SO NEVER AGAIN. I will not be spending any REAL money on their MP packs.

And if anyone at EA/Bioware is interested.

you have received all you packs, you just didn't see them.. that's the bug and you don't get anything updated in your inventory until after you relog.. i can live with surprises but rest assured after 20 odd failed packs every single time i got my goods, just couldn't see what i got. others have reported the same.

1 Premium Spectre pack.

It happend to me twice but I ended up exiting the game and restarting it; went into multiplayer and all my new purchased items showed up. The second time I purcahsed it with biopoints, don't know if that matters.

The problem has to do with latency or something like that. I was having this problem for few days now, had to disconnect each time to make a purchase. But out of curiousity, i tried out tunnelling just to see if it makes any difference and it did. I've bought recruit, veteran etc just fine.

I suggest you guys try that and see if it helps. You don't even have to subscribe to any tunnelers, just use those trial accounts that expires in 30 mins just to shop with.

im still having trouble purchasing packs of any kind, occasionally the recruit pack works, but everything else fails but still takes the credits, no new items in my inventory, this really needs fixing badly, its making mp difficult for me if i run out of medi gel or other things and cant purchase packs, i have tried unplugging the cable from my router and it made no difference sadly, please bioware fix this rather frustrating bug :(
