Just lost almost 200k total and I didn't notice this thread (just now). Got Screenshots of the problem (time stamped w/ FRAPS)

Tried buying 2 Premium Spectre packs within a week. Though I tried experimenting by getting BW points 800 and was able to successfully get Premium Specter packs (phew) from it. Though I don't think I'll be buying BW points for booster packs in the long run (DLCs yes, but booster packs maybe or maybe not)

The ?--I am not sure, because the transaction failed but my Mattock got Level 6. But received no Medigel or other consumables.

Yeah, and just discovered that I also can´t connect or host any games. (But my Internet is just fine.)

At first I started receiving the error that the transaction couldn't go through but I thought it was refunding my credits. Apparently not true.

Total: 139,000 credits + all the recruits which I don't know how many it's been since this starting happening to me.

After one of these I went into weapons and there a new on every type of weapon but there was nothing new (not even upgrades). Weird.

I had this happen to me for about the third time today.  However this time it was when I was purchasing the 99,000 credit spectre pack.  I had just finished a game and was in the lobby.  When it occured I lost my connection and saw all the other players drop.

This was different than the last time.  Then I was able to go back to the main menu and then try again and it worked without me losing any credits.

So after this happening again I contacted Origin support.  They said that it's a known issue and that we'll all be credited back.  lol  I pointed out that it first happened to me a couple weeks ago and I've never been credited anything back.  He then said the pack would be activated in my account.  Finally, he did something I thought.  Unfortunately not.

I asked him if he credited it to me.  He said no.  So, he lied as we all know I'm not magically going to get the pack.  I asked him why he lied to me and for over 15 minutes he dodged the question.  At about the 20 minute mark with him still not telling me why he kept lying he disconnected.  It's ridiculous that they lie.  If he had just credited the pack then we would have been done quickly.

Also, I asked what if I had used real money, but he dodged the question.  I have the ful chat transcript if anyones interested.

I got the same situation with the support too, it's unacceptable that something big like EA has such a bad support.

The Origin tech support can be really hit or miss. The first guy I talked to copy pasted a totally unrelated cookie cutter "shut down all non essential programs" set of instruction and then repeatedly told me to follow it (even after I told him several it was done) for half an hour. Then he just stopped talking and disappeared. But the next guy gave me a straight answer right away and also solved another unrelated tech problem that's been bugging me for ages in 5 minutes flat.

I just lost 99,000 credits trying to buy premium pack. sooo this happens often and I got the character wipe bug with no response of bioware saying they will reimburse players for their loses.. im done with bioware games.

 I've not seen this issue on the Premium Spectre Pack, but I've just had it occur on the 60k Spectre pack and a few times during the day on the veteran (20k) pack.

This could be an intentional bug designed to prolong the life of the mass effect 3 multiplayer experience - the vast majority of people who experience this bug will continue to play the game regardless of how many times this issue 'occurs' to them. I contacted their support and "as far as the lost of points unfortunately we cannot restore the lost points." I gotta hand it to them for putting this feature in, as it really has no drawbacks strategically - we cannot do anything about it, and they know even though it is really annoying and a waste of our time, we will keep playing.

I know a couple of people who stopped playing the multiplayer because of this so...
