So far i have bought 26 Resurgence Pack of a total of 2,574,000 credits.
And ive managed to open up 6 Packs with no problem, 20 packs have gone to the infamous "one or more purchases have failed..."

I have stopped buying packs overall, because it doesent seem to be a coinsidence that so many in the ME3 comunity has the same problem, and i have browsed trough these forums since basically the start of ME3, and there hasnt been a single response from the Bioware team about what it might be or that they are working on a solution.

The shop problem has existed since before the resurgence DLC, and some bugs go back even during the Beta phase, but instead of giving some sort of announcement or a statement about what is being done about this problem so many are having, they went with a "smart" strategy and released a "free DLC, at no extra charges" promo to move the focus of the problem elsewere.

Obviously it worked for a few weeks, but as what happens always when the dirt is swept under the carpet, is it will eventually come back out.

So there is not much me or anyone can do about this until Bioware developement team decides to make this problem official, and perhaps a patch for it.

Until then, you can either stop buying the Resurgence Pack all together, or stop using the shop at all, or ultimately stop playing Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer.
The last one being a bit dramatic, but its better to leave the source of frustration, and move on to something better. :)

ps. for the heck of it, i contacted bioware support about this problem, just for fun, and i got in touch with Raji from India, and he had no idea what kind of problem i was talking about and asked me to get in touch with Bioware support. After that he disconnected me from the live chat.
I have to say, the bioware customer support in India needs some work. :)

cant say it much better than this guy. they clearly don't give a **** about support when the last post from them was a month ago. contacting them is just an endless cycle of randomly generated apologies.

Wholeheartedly agree with this. Heres a nice transcript of a 1 hour chat i had with customer support:

Image IPB

The case was marked as "Resolved" immediately after the quite untimely disconnect - something that i really dont aprove of. If i had not been paying attention to the matter, i could have been waiting forever to hear from them on a case that appeared to be "resolved".

After this chat, i have had the problem again, so now we're up to...
Credits lost: 198.000, buying Premium Spectre Packs, so it was quite some time ago.
Bioware Points: 320, restored on the spot after calling the danish EA support (so YES, they can do it if they want to!)

Abjerre wow thats some really poor scripted reply you got from customer service. Thank you though I am just about to phone them although I will be requesting extra for the money spent having to phone in the first place and use real money in a phone call wasting my time with poorly trained people unable to resolve a problem.

Having worked in support of a large company back when i was in college, i'm pretty sure that it is a fair bit below industry standard. Or they just have really poor standards.

Also, taken from another thread:

Advisor: Hello ********,

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts Customer
Support.

As I have been assigned to your issue, and would be happy to assist you in this matter. I understand how frustrating (summarize issue) can be.

Yet another fine example of the how well EA is managing the whole "customer relation" side of doing business...

Yeah got absolutely nowhere and given the run around Call Centre hung up on me 5 times.
Looks like time to contact trading sevices and paypal.
Paypal can deal with it as I have raised a issue with them.
Trading standards also told me they have had a sizeable amount of complaints so its not suprising no one from the company ever gives replies in this thread.

easiest way to fix this would be to deduct credits after the pack purchase is applied that way if you do encounter a but it gives you credits instead of stealing them. consider it paying the players for wasting their time

Yeah after years of dealing with EA's "customer service" myself, I honestly think we'd get better help from a Magic 8 Ball.

Just had this exact issue, now every time I go to the store it tells me to contact Customer Support. I go to customer support and I get a page with one line of text "This site has been disabled for the time being"

Why don't they just put up trollface.jpg and be done with it....

It's just as much of a bug when we start into a session, and something happens, like the host loses connect, and we end up with our hard-earned mods used up. Just not nearly as noticable, since the shop had the possibility of getting a permanent weapon, or 50,000th copy of the Human Male Sentinel. Seriously, fix the matches so we don't lose our stuff when the fight never happens. It's just a smaller symptom of the shop flaws.

Every transaction and completion is logged so you do not need proof as you were logged in with the ID associated with that account.
If they had any real interest in the customers they would refer to the logs which would state what transactions had issues and rectify them although my guess is they dont care. Looking at the outstanding complaints in this thread does not read well.

Wish I could speak / write English :)

What language were you speaking/ writing in?

By this point I have lost all faith & trust in Bioware. I don't even have the motivation to even complete my single player campaign, and I'm only half way through.

I received an email stating this issue was "fixed" and all lost items were returned to me. I see no such thing...
I didn't get any of my lost items back and I didn't get my bioware points back either. That's 4800 points down the drain...

They would know exactly what they owed you and so there is no excuse for not giving you everything back. even to offer you a compensatory gift for your trouble. Every purchase by credit, or points, is logged as is all transactions that complete, or partially complete, or just plain dont complete at all. Every server on the internet has logs and all of them have logs of all these types of transactions. I speak from a measure of experience.

The existence of logs shows they could implement automatic journaling, which would automate failure-proof transactions. No doubt they use a SQL server backend...the reason for not using transactions on something that is such a mess would probably be performance or fast development. Time for the real deal.

Lost 6000 creds for a spectre pack form this now.  I guess I'll need to contact customer support about this?

You will get much better luck in dealing with someone over the phone generally speaking. It takes a far more jaded person to give these types of responses when actually talking to a person over the phone, as opposed to just in a textbox. The ones on the livechat seem to be the stereotypical outsourced IT type people who barely know English, can't and/or won't fix your problem, won't be bothered to actually put a little effort in and try and help you, and don't care in the slightest whether or not your issue actually gets fixed, no matter how severe it might be in regards to lost time or money.

The complete, utter, and total lack of any communication or support from both EA and Bioware is shocking. I have never seen customer "support" of this abysmal quality. I'm halfway tempted to try and break a forum rule just to see if anyone actually reads this (although I won't because I have been getting the impression that the moderators just look to see if a post is Ban worthy, rather than actually pass the word along to other departments, which just makes the forums a handy place where we can complain to each other). The other half of me is tempted to try and put something on reddit (like the conversation image from ABjerre up above) to spread the word before people buy products from companies like this, as opposed to after they already have our money and are laughing all the way to the bank. But I have stopped playing this game in multiplayer (and am just about bored with single player) and have no intention of buying any EA or Bioware title in the future.

If this really is an issue for you, I suggest doing the same (or actually talking to a business monitoring agency or something like a reddit idea) because its blatantly obvious that EA and Bioware don't care in the slightest about the community (aside from what they can milk from us) after they have sold their games. Just remember, it's not like there aren't plenty of other choices for entertainment or game developers.
