Look at how pathetically old and widespread this issue is. Everyone who has played MP enough has experienced it. And there is ONE MONTH old reply from BioWare and every EA rep disconnects if you try to get your credits refunded.
They clearly are keeping this in on purpose, and screwing you all. How can you, people, support them after that?

tempest_87 the mods / admin on here will have no remit other than to make sure the company / company employees do not get direct personal insult and probably clean the chaff from the wheat.Mods might even be volunteers mainly.

To be fair it is pointless complaining to EA/Bioware, full stop as they will just respond with the company line. I have now got 4 separate tech support requests open and each have had the exact same response and I am 480 Bioware points down.

The easiest solution now is to contact UK Trading Standards as they have essentially taken money and provided no product and are refusing to provide a refund.

I have lost many many credits because of this bug. The last instance was 20,000 creds but there was a resurgance pack 90,000 that i had lost plus several recruit packs. When are they going to fix this?

*Edit for:*

OriginID: ladyxtech

Not sure how much I've lost but it has been a lot.

I cannot buy anything from the ME3 store anymore, I always get the error message. What the hell? I don`t care about the refunding, what I care about is that mp is a total waste for me if I can`t receive anything for playing it. I won`t touch it again until this problem is solved. It`s ridiculous.

Have you made sure to shut down Origin?  The problem persists until you completely shut down Origin and restart it, even if you shut down the game and restart it.

This is probably why Origin is still "beta", because the store issue is 100% caused by Origin, as far as I can tell.

For the mods/admin that may very well be true (and is actually semi-understandable), they are here mainly to enforce the rules. However, as stated in the Site Rules section: "These forums are run by BioWare and Electronic Arts for the promotion of our games and communicating to our customers and Community members." The main issue here is that there is practically 0 communication FROM the developer to the community regarding anything other than upcoming Operations.

On other forums some of the moderators actually have the power to speak for the company in some respects. That may not be the case here, but regardless, the only communication happening here seems to be from us to them. There aren't really any signs that that part is even happening successfully because there isn't acknowledgement from Bioware in any form (through a moderator or developer) in regards to any issue except in regards the story ending fiasco (which has caused massive problems in many ways).

If I were on a non-official-non-bioware forum I wouldn't expect to be reasonably heard by the developer, after all it wouldn't be their forum. But since this is an OFFICAL BIOWARE FORUM on an official, copyrighted EA website, I would expect to at least have a modicum of communication from the developer through emploiyees, moderators, or developers, on issues other than DLC/Operation announcements and thread Locking.

Back on the original topic: I now never ever buy anything without fully exiting the game for at least 5 minutes. This seems to work for me, however I have only purchased about 12 packs over 5 or 6 different gaming sessions, so I am not 100% sure that my method works all the time, but its worth trying.

What makes you think it is Origin itself that is causing the issue? I am curious because the best solution I have found (exiting ME3 for at least 5 minutes then getting back in and buying everything before the next multiplayer game) works without shutting down Origin.

If someone could also corroborate my "fix" it might be helpful for some, should a developer ever actually read/hear about this problem.

More likely they say Beta to try and pretend that they are working on it :) Steam Also used to say Beta too. Tempest_87 as you know I was not criticising you as I too thought this forum had some sort of authority which of course it seems it has not.

I had this same issue, with the refund and exiting the game, just to find the credits gone. However, I did find new equipment (from a specter pack). I had this issue last night, only to have a Geth Infiltrator show up today. That was a great surprise!

What happens *most* of the time is that you are actually awarded the items, you just arent shown what you get. This can be seen by the *NEW* label on the equipment section (most of the time). If you keep a detailed inventory (or use the new Multiplayer Manifest, which is really quite nice) then you can track and see what items are new/changed. However it seems that some people are actually genuintely losing their items and credits/money. Hopefully you arent one of them.

As I have recommended earler, the best solution I have found is to exit the game completely BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING. Wait a few minutes. Get back on and DO NOT PLAY A MATCH until you are finished buying stuff. That has worked for me (but I havent bought too many packs lately, the disconnect issues and lag make me barely play the game anymore).

Seems like this only affects the PC version of the multiplayer, so maybe that's why they don't really care.. they have most of their sales from consoles versions anyway.. Thumbs down Bioware.

It is absolutly outrageous that this hasn't been sorted after a month when it involves actual money being lost by consumers.

Does this not count as fraud by EA?

I have only briefly browsed the other technical support forums but it seems that all three systems have completely different technical problems.

Like I said, *most* of the time it seems (from reading these forum posts at least) that the items are actually awarded and people just dont notice the item changes becuase there are a fair number that can happen. As far as fraud, possibly, but good luck suing a large company like EA. Large company = many lawyers

Lost Credits: 120k (probably more)
Bioware Pts: 0

Sometimes when I log back in I might get the items I paid for. But it just now munched 33K jumbo special pack credits.

Personally I'm not into this whole suing culture. I just wish the mass media would pick on something like this (even over the game's ending) so a fix came out sooner rather than later.

I've never spent BioWare points on a pack, but little has been done to help people who lost their packs when they did use BW points rather than the in-game creds.
Morally, should the option to use BW points even still be there until this is sorted?

Once during last week. Get the error message, then disconnected from EA. Once Friday, once Saturday. Saturday I restarted Origin and ME 3, went to the store and got the error message and yet again disconnected.

Just happened to me. First time I reached 60k to get the spectre pack! So frustrating!

They offer one thing, turn around and take the credits and give nothing?

Edit:

My originid: AlphaAce1
Credits lost: 60K

Well, looking at the responses, can you blame me for asking directly? I'm still pretty sure that it was a bot, or a trained monkey.
By the way, i've lost both points and credits in the store. Credits being refunded is not likely, but i have had points refunded WHILE ON THE PHONE with them. Thats how quickly they can do it, if the representative you get hold of is willing to do something about it.

I called the danish department of EA customer support, as thats where i live, so i cant really speak for pther countries, but it would supprise me, if they had more tools here in DK than in, say UK.

I´ve ben reading a bit in this forum now. I had read earlier about some players stating they´ve got over 1,5 millions and they didn´t know how.

Reading most of the post in this thread I think there could some hacks beeing used by someone affecting your store orders, in other words the packs you don´t get are accounted to someone else.

I only begun to play this game in MP a week ago, I was missing some good guns and bought every 60K a spectre pack, until now everything went fine.

For those getting problems with store purchases, only make purchases after rebooting, load origin and from origin start ME3 > MP mode > buy things > play.

For me it´s hard to believe the losses all of you got are just from bad connection(s), I don´t believe that, more I believe some bad person has some bad software and is stealing from all of you the points/money.
I think the big problem here is, "the people who could implement security" into the MP part of ME3 are not putting the required effort into it, at least it isn´t "visible" to the community if they do so.

I played for long time (still playing) World in Conflict online/MP and MASSIVE, the developer of the game, was able to implement an absolutely stable and hack/exploit/cheat free multiplayer, the only exploit that arose was to reset servers, so the whole game would end, but that was fixed in no time.
I really don´t know why the makers of this game have to reinvent the wheel afterall???

Bio I had 60075 credits and I tried and tried to buy a specter pack and it kept on failing... I restart my game thinking this is all it needed nope now its worse the stupid thing now shows 75 credits so wheres my 60k creds? I know this is a problem but all my work into getting that much to nothing is outright bad I will support anything to fix this a patch would work too I would never spend real money on a pack in this game the bio points would go toward a DLC so I support only ingame creds for packs!! sry for rant I am not happy usually I am when it comes to ME3!

Edit: I talked with a EA Rep on live chat and he said "Untill the problem is fixed there is nothing they can do!!"  So when the problem is fixed the box will come my way... *cry* It coulda been a Krogan in the box!! >_<
