I just lost my commendation pack due to the store error.
No new guns, and my eagle was not upgraded.

Update: livechat gave me a new pack.

160 Bioware points + 20000 credits + 240 Bioware points ---> A lot of time and money thrown away.
EA Help Center have no answers for me.

UPDATE!!! --> Few emails, livechat and a phone call after --> Mass Effect Crew gave me a "free special pack" (300000 credits) to spend.
Now the question: to spend or not to spend? ;-)

The service rep I talked to basically told me 'nu uh, you got your pack', even though I know for a fact I didn't since nothing new is showing up as having unlocked.

Crap, think of it.   If even half the players have lost 10$ worth of Bioware points on dissapearing packs, how much extra money did EA get without even having to hand over virtual rewards or giving a refund because customer service standard operation is to deny the problem even when there are so many having it?
Edit:  Ughh!!  Dammit, I screen shot the entire conversation, but darn photobucket keeps making it to small to read.  <_<

Just lost 99k on the Premium Spectre Pack. Sucks, guess I'm cutting my loses, I got better things to do then deal with customer service. No way I would ever recommend using bioware points on this service.

I tried to buy a premium Spector pack the other day using bioware points, it glitched out and didn't give me the pack but still took the points.

Also I never got the victory pack from last weekend, it was in my list at the same time I tried toe Spector pack but I held off redeeming it because of all the issues people have been having so I never used it, then it just disappeared on me completely, as if I had redeemed it but I haven't...got the commendation pack just fine though.

Have suffered three different lost Premium Spectre Packs in the last three days due to this glitch - the last time, the game crashed on me, and when I restarted, the credits were gone. Previous times, attempts to purchase the packs glitched, credits were refunded, but were gone the next time I started the game.

Before I purchase anything now, I always buy 1 recruit pack to make sure their crappy system is working. Better to lose 5000 credits than 99000 credits :D

Still, the servers are that bad those 5000 credits at a time sure add up ;)

And once again 99000 credits go down the drain. I have to say, there's no better way to discourage player from buying packs with BW Points.

Credits lost: 417k
Bioware points lost: 0
Origin ID: YominTheUltimate

For me it's around 10% chance that the shop does work.

It's sad, really.

Well, according to Origin customer support person Dheeraj, there is "no way" their system would not log a transaction, even if it fails, so in otherwords, they are saying that everyone here is lying about their failed purchase, because it should have been logged, which would permit them to process the credit refund.

Wait....is that a pig flying?

Just thought I'd tack myself on here, since I've now lost what I consider an abundance of credits on this.

So far, 5 spectre packs, and two Premium Spectre Packs, all bought in credits; totaling 498,000.

At almost half a million credits, I'd like to see something done about this.

User: ZeureDeafearu

PS. Don't know if this is affecting everyone else the same way, but everytime I have a transaction that doesn't go through, the next match I play makes me lose connection to the server after wave 1.  The OP didn't say anything about this, so I'm including it in my post, as I'm very disinclined to read through 48 pages of angry people.  So it kicks me out of the match, and then when/if I try to enter another one without exiting my game, it just WON'T connect to anything.  Does not display the cycling 'communicating' icon, and doesn't let me create or enter a game after it kicks me out until I exit and restart the game.

Another Premium Spectre pack...
Updated Total: 597,000

Had a spectre pack purchase fail.

Tried Wynn's method for the first time, and it worked.

It means someone who does not know how to program a database is claiming to know. You were lied to. They are not using "transactions", which is required for that guarantee.

I've had this happen on and off today. I lost 1 premium spectre pack and 2 veteran packs. This is the first game from Bioware that required me to add EA live chat to my browser bookmark bar.

Also, the chat techs have been totally, wildly inconsistent. One guy said my credits could not be replaced but gave me a replacement pack, one guy said it was a known issue and gave me nothing, and the guy I am chatting with on the other monitor is asking me when I bought the game (?? what, no one else wanted that) and then said he could return my credits but it would take a few hours. So, who knows what will happen - presumably, nothing.

I've had a HUGE number of inconsistent techs. Some that don't even know about any network issues, EVER. Some that don't even know the server is completely down for hours...must be on a VERY long coffee break, or just be a figurehead. The quality from one help guy to the next shows some probably actually play the game, while others have never heard of it. About 50-50.

Hmmm I don't think my post will change much but ...
I'm having those problems, too. Today was my second lost premium spectre pack and some not counted smaller ones.

I have the opinion that the game loses its connection to the bioware servers pretty fast and fails to reestablish them before shop transactions or entering the search for a game.

Best regards,
MiniMe.86

I've been unable to buy anything today - three attempts to buy a PSP, and three failures. Luckily, my balance is still the same.

Okay, ignore that - I just restarted the game to find two new characters and a new weapon. I guess it went through belatedly!
