Tried purchasing a spectre pack last night, and received the error. It kept showing that I was getting the points back from the failed purchase, but today I'm just out the credits. Hope there's a solution soon, down 60k points!

Also didn't receive a veteran pack. I'd like my 80 bw points back, please. And could you fix the store while you're banging around in there?

I received the same error maybe 30 minutes ago, and it seems unlikely they'll refund anything, unless my support rep had no clue.  Here's my experience so far with support:

Anand:Thanks for contacting EA Help! My name is Anand how may I help you?
you:I tried purchasing a spectre pack in the multiplayer store, and it gave me an error. after reloading the game, i'm missing the credits now. i understand this is an ongoing issue?
Anand:May I know the error that you got ?
you:sorry, I didn't write it down, and since I've reloaded the game, I don't get the error now. Just missing credits
Anand:Please give me some time to retrieve your account in our database.
you:sure
Anand:Thank you for waiting. I really appreciate your patience.
Anand:I am not able to locate your order in your account.
you:it was just ingame, using whatever credit system they use, not using Bioware Points
Anand:I am not able to locate the order.
you:It just happened, maybe 20 minutes ago. I had bought other packs earlier today, then this was my last one.
Anand:Well, I can assure you that your order is not placed,
Anand:Please try to make a new order
you:well I don't have enough credits now to purchase anything. It took my 60000 credits
Anand:In that case I suggest you to get in touch of your Bank.
Anand:Thank you for contacting EA. Is there anything else I can help you with today?

I lost both 240 points and 25000 credits today - the problem seems to come and go every couple hours. I doubt there'll be refunds, though.

This has happened to me a lot in the past few days, but I also get the items when it steals my credits after a reset. Just have to look around and see what's new.

I suffered the same twice! once today, I had like 84k credit and last week with 107k credit.
I was like whoa! I lost the chance to buy my special spectre pack.

Yep, I have lost 160 Bioware points on a Spectre pack purchase. I also lost a 60k credit purchase, plus I wasn't rewarded for 2 scenarios I played. I quit multi for 3 days out of disgust.

To add to the problems, the error message on the 160 Bioware points said to contact customer support.  How?

Lost another 120,000 credits since my last post on this thread, but I have also found a work around that seems to work. If you have been playing and have racked up some credits don't go from the game session strait into the store. First exit Mass Effect 3 entirely then once you log in multiplayer head strait to the store and make your purchase. If you play after that be sure to restart the game from desktop before trying to make additional purchases.  I haven't lost any more credits since I started doing this.

I might as well respond to this thing seeing as how customer support is dodgier than Shepard being chased by 4 Brutes down memory lane; I'm out 160 BW points because of some wanky connected 22nd century laptop that can't connect to my Desktop so as a result my Spectre pack has been sent to the Reapers in the Terminus system.

They could be having fun with a Paladin or an Asari Adept I possibly could have had but instead, I'm out 160 BW points and am left staring blankly at my screen hoping for a delayed Spectre Pack unlock.

I made a Bioware point purchase and received the PayPal receipt but never received the points. Very disappointing. On top of that the game now thinks I don't have an online pass and I can't access multiplayer at all. :(

Same for me lost 160 BW points on Spectre pack.
My advice - do not spend BW points, it is easier to loose ethereal money, than real ;)

Yep lost like 240k...Just dont buy packs if:
a.) The host is transfered at any point
b.) You are not the host
c.) You are in the game...

When i buy packs i'll disconnect from the game lobbys (sometimes restart ME3) then buy my packs....

Nothing of this helps me. I'm currently unable to buy any packs - and if I try I loose the credits. Has been like this since Friday I believe.

I've confirmed through another 80k in losses that you still lose the points, even if you don't exit.  I mean,  you have to exit sometime...but once you leave the store, my credits are gone.  Shutting the game down hours later (hours of playing MP and earning credits but NOT spending them), I find that I'm missing the point total from the bonus pack purchases that got the error.

So yea...when in the hell are you going to fix this, Bioware?  80k credits, and 160 Bioware Points (which were purchased with my hard-earned money, y'know), went bye-bye.  I want my Vet packs and Specter pack, or at least something like "we're working on it" - and not this lame, clueless, support chat where they have no idea WTF in an equpiment pack even is.

i noticed that when this happens, if you keep trying to buy it more than once (and get the error every time), and then exit and start the game again, you should have gotten stuff from a pack even without the opening animations. I'm not sure 100% as i've been trying this only lately but both times it happened i kept trying to buy 4-5 times and then restarted the game, got a new weapon the first time and a char unlock the second.

Would be nice if they would reply. They're taking people's real money in some cases, and stealing it, with no means of support. Serious WTF.

This is theivery, plain and simple. I wish some enterprising lawyer would take on this case against EA.
