Hey, nice catch! I've been buying 2 Premium Spectre Packs and in both cases I got an error message and thought I'd lost the credits (they seemed to have been refunded, but when I exited and restarted the game, I'd lost the credits after all). But now I tried exiting and restarting the game like you and I've got two weapon upgrades! 

Still, there's a lot of giddy 'Yaay' sentiments attached to buying such a huge Pack, so I'm still not happy that this bug is occuring <_< but at least we're getting our stuff, so that's something.

Thanks for posting this, never would've checked it like this otherwise :)

Having seen it many, many times, if your credits were decremented, that means it went through and you'll have to find which items it was yourself. If all you got were characters cards and equipment, you might not notice any difference because those character cards were maxed out.

Long story short, it's annoying, but don't worry about it.

Only there have been cases where people actually never got anything but still lost their credits.

i said "apparently" for a reason, its not like i really believed a company who has lied to me every step of the way, would suddenly do the right thing and refund my money. honestly this has to be the most annoying/frustrating bug i've ever come across in any game. and they wont even acknowledge it half the time.Thank GOD diablo 3 comes out in a week (made by a REAL game studio EA/bioware, take some f@@king notes) and i can forget about this train-wreck of a game for awhile.

Over 350k credits AND 480 Bioware points so far.

Guess the points won't matter anymore because Diablo 3 comes out in a week but I Want My Money Back.
My Credit Card was very quickly charged for all the points I've bought and not ONE of these bank transactions failed ... what if the same thing happened to them - I'd have my own "Technical Support" telling them that I am aware of that and I am working on the issue ...?

Anyway - one more client lost for the future.

If they do not refund, and do not deliver you have the right to contest the charges with your bank. The bank will get with Mastercard, Visa, etc. and they will look into it. If they find in your favor you will get your money back.
Apparently some who do this have been not only blocked from going online on ME3 but on their whole EA accounts. Just goes to show how crooked they are for punishing you for perfectly legal actions. I see being blocked as a non-issue as I will no longer support EA affiliated games.

Unfortunately, that's common on all platforms.

Contest a charge on Steam, and if you're in America, you'll get your account locked for your troubles. Other countries may have better luck due to differing consumer protection laws.

Origin is no different in that respect.

About 240 Bioware points lost for me... Several hundred thousand credits have vanished into nothing as well.

been promised a refund/reimbursement on 3 or 4 separate occasions now. none of which ever come through, they just tell me that they are doling them out according to some script and it may take some time to work through. my original emails are almost a month old.

Getting awfully sick of being ignored about this. I've repeatedly asked for reimbursement or compensation and have been repeatedly been refused or ignored. We have now officially reached the point where I feel I have been stolen from. We have past the point where I am willing to settle for receiving what I purchased. Unless some serious effort is made to make good, I will never buy anything from EA again.

None of you have lost credits and don't need to be reimbursed on anything.
Most of you don't actually keep track of your inventory, but I did. You get your items, but you have to search for them. If the item you receive is new to your list, you'll have a "new" sign the next time you log on. Otherwise there will be no indication that you received anything except the rank will be higher, or a class will have more experience (and a new appearance option will be unlocked if that's not maxed out). I've collected every single comon, silver and gold card while keeping track of my inventory on a separate checklist. I've *never* not received any items. And I've experienced the error since week one, now nearing 95% of the time. 

I'm not saying that the store bug isn't a huge problem - no fix after 2 months of the game being out. Bioware is easily the worst company I've ever bought a multiplayer game from.

You only receive the "new" indicator on your weapons menu if you get a new gun. You got a character card instead. I tried to explain this in the part of my post you cut out...

Except I got no characters. No offense, but you may want to consider that other people are having issues that you aren't and it has caused you to assume that no issue exists. Lucky you.

You're going to tell me that you checked all 30 of your characters to see if you unlocked a new appearance option?

I got smart and started doing what someone said and buy recruit packs before I try to buy the premiums.  So, failed recruit pack.

The same thing happens to me, after a failed purchase I will disconnect from games after the first wave ends.
If you get two failed purchases do you notice that your leaderboards stop working? You can't connect to any game at all, and get "a network error has occured" error message if you try to host?

Edit: I can't help but wonder whether this problem is hardware specific like our routers, or if it's EA's servers, or if the problem is with our Origin accounts.

I have a D-Link router and despite it's crapiness I don't have connection problems with any other online activites including ME3's online gameplay.  OS:  Win 7 64 bit. I get the error 95% of the time, probably ~100 times now.

pssssh....I've lost so many I quit counting! Also was told by bioware/EA representative that they were showing up as completed even though I know they failed and I got nothing. When you play EA server based games, it's just what you have to expect....moving on with life.......Joe out!

Well, I have never had anything against bioware, but this issue HAS to be adressed in the near future.
Words cannot describe how frustrated people are, and on top of that, NO reply from bioware about this issue for about a month now...........

I'd like a response because I'm really frustrated now.
I'm starting to get negative on this and assume that it's intentional and that you're fooling players to play a already annoying multi-player game.
I mean really, it's not funny losing collected game credits... Specially when I lost so much time gathering that amount.

2 Premium spectre contents, GEEZ! 2! NOT 1, 2!

Same thing happened to me yesterday. Bought 1 Premium spectre pack, tried quiting the game and no equipment or credits.

Happened again today buying another premium, discovered this thread, and tried every method listed. Nothing worked.
