OK, here's what happened to me just now:

Got the dreaded "transaction did not complete - contact customer service error"
Didn't show a deduction immediately.
Logged out and back in - 99,000 crdits deducted, but the pack was purchased - it just didn't tell me it was. I just happened to notice a character class now had been bumped a couple levels. Further research showed some new equipment.

If a transaction fails for you, check to see if you have new stuff before getting on the horn with service/posting - though that's still kind of annoying.

It is really annoying. I have to quit the game and restart the game to see my purchases. I also get a weird "deja vu" teleport issue sometimes that gets me killed a lot and makes it almost impossible to snipe.

Lost another 99K creds on PS pack. =/ Tried contacting customer service but they keep on saying that none of my transactions have been recorded. NONE of them! Not since I first made the account in 2010!

Still bugs out even after the patch, had 8,8mil saved and spent it on 88 PSP. Was a real pain, as around every 4th buy the store bugged out.

Well, at least now it doesn't tell me to contact customer support anymore, but just says I lost the connection to multiplayer and kicks me out of the multiplayer screen into the main menu. The stuff I got from the PSP is still given out, but I have to browse through the manifest to find what I got...

Well I lost 21000 credits by doing nothing. Had 94k when I logged out after playing a quick game before work, got home 12 hours later and logged in and had 73k credits.

"In that case, it seems to be an in-game issue and you are now connected to the Technical and Account Department of the EA Global Customer Support. However, please post your issue on our official forums where our In-game Experts will assist you further in resolving your issue better. "

So in game issues are not part of Technical department it seems

I'm interested in knowing when they they will bring the shop to an working condition, it's kinda annoying to lose 99.000 yet again.

And it only happen when I buy the Specter and premium specter packs, wich is interesting to say the least.

I've had the problem before, but always been able to quit game, go back in, and see what ultimately got purchased in pack. Yesterday, after patch 1.03 and DLC both installed, bought a PSP and got kicked out of Multiplayer. I quit to desktop as before, went back in, and saw an Indra unlock (not complaining there) but that was it. It was almost like that was the only thing in the pack. Tried again later buying another PSP, had the same kick from Multiplayer, and could not see that ANYTHING got unlocked.

Never complained about it before, because it seemed that the stuff was there, I just missed out on the animation opening the pack.

Used credits for 99k pack. Store bugged out, no items and no credit refund. ugh...................will they ever fix this.

Happened again twice today. I think it has something to do with the fact that all my uncommon and rare weapons are at X level. That and I just got my Cerberus Harrier before this purchase bug started to show up again. Everything was going fine after the Rebellion pack up until I unlocked every weapon available.

I seriously think we should be able to purchase the equipment/weapons that we want specifically rather than this lottery pick. Maybe that will fix this issue that Bioware has been looking into for over 3 months without solving...

I'm pretty sure the old d/c trick still works, used it myself a week ago or so.

1. When the error message pops up DON'T click ok.
2. Tab out of the game and disable your network connection/or simply plug the cable
3. Tab in to the game, click ok. This should leave you at the menu screen.
4. Enable your network connection/plug in cable
5. Tab in, let the game connect. Then go Multiplayer
6. You should receive your "lost" pack now.

I Went into the store, Didnt even have a chance to even select a Premuim Specter Pack when It said communicating........... When I came back it had taken 78,000 Credits.

The real Kicker is as I said I didnt even get a chance to pick the pack. I really wish some one could look into this!!!!!!!!!

Same thing happened to me last night. I lost 45,000 credits when the game decided to hang in the store. I didn't get the chance to buy anything. I also lost all xp and N7 rank I had gained over the 3 games I played to that point. I guess I can feel fortunate that unlike a few forum posters I did not lose everything.

This nolonger works as it will reset your account  and you have to quit and restart the game.

I was playing ME3 multiplayer today. After victory in Silver, I went to the store to purchase a Jumbo pack. Then came the "You lost connection with the server" message and I got kicked into the main menu.

I tried to go into multiplayer again - and I found that I lost literally everything. Weapons, mods, gears, characters, credits, everything.


EDIT: Whew. Problem solved, thankfully it seems that it was only a temporary issue.

It ate my victory pack and commendation pack today, great.
The credits I was understanding with but this is getting ridiculous.

I've been wondering about this.

I have no idea how many credits I've lost to this bug.  At -least- a million, probably closer to two.  (10-20 PSP's)

I've also lost around a thousand Bioware points.  (4 PSP's if I recall correctly)

I -did- contact EA/Bioware tech support.  They told me to "post it on the forums", as if that might magically cause me to be reimbursed, but when I asked the -very- helpful (sarcasm) tech support guy (in India I'm guessing, and just typing a script -- badly with lots of typos) -where- in the forums to post it, his equally useless reply was "social.bioware.com".  Duh.

So... I'm hoping, now that this bug has been fixed for a couple of weeks, that maybe this is the correct place in the forums to post to get my magic refund?

I'm not holding my breath.

My OriginID is the same as my forum ID: FirroSeranel.

ed. I've seen this happen twice now. It seems that the reported symptoms are different for purchases with credits than purchases with bioware points?

What happens seems to be the following:
* attempt a purchase
* "You have lost your connection to the Mass Effect 3 server"
* Get booted back to ME3 main menu
* Attempt to enter multiplayer again
* Game attempts to connect to multiplayer and doesn't complete
* Quit the game
* Multiplayer connection works now
* Credits deducted, no items. 

Really, getting this stuff right is schoolboy stuff, and any purchasing-related bugs should be treated as top priority. It's moronic that we're in this situation.

Same here , i have to quit game when i buy 99000 $ pack . I fact it's 50-50 , sometimes that work , sometimes not without reason .
And i already lost 7 pack like this ( about 30% of them still work even i need to quit game ) .
Really annoying and don't real help to continue multi beside get back force at 100% for single campaign .

I forgot to said ; I have no message said " wrong blabla or whatever " , it's wrote , plz wait then .. research ... forever , best i stay was like 10 minutes , and nothing happens , still have the " plz wait " . Check computer , ME3.exe still work but loading forever .

Edit :
- First try for the 99 000 one , loading forever , need quit game , back to game , items was valided but not sure excatly what i got ( i know it cause i got a new character ) .
- Second try for the 99 000 of the night , after 3 minutes of " plz wait " got the " connection lost and back at the first menu of the game , i goes back to Multi and got the pack opened directly .
- Third try , buying the equipement one for 33 000 ( i think ) been directly delivery without problem in 1 second .
So seems it's only the prenium 99 000 one who have a problem .

Bought 2 PSP packs, one showed I unlocked the Vorcha and another showed I unlocked the Justicar. After going back to character selection list neither classes showed I had something new, and both classes where locked.
After buying another PSP pack I managed to unlock the Vorcha again. But still no Justicar. :( Pretty annoying.

BW Points Lost (Since Launch) - 4800!!!!!!

I'm extremely disappointed in BW for not helping the customers who spent countless hours (and money) playing the game and losing in-game credits/BW points. It's ridiculous. And the fact that they don't record transactions is even more absurd. As much as I love ME3, BW's customer service really killed it for me.

Just a quick heads-up - after the recent change to the PSP, where you don't get any more character cards when you have already maxed them, the PSP purchase is practically instant now. Never had the store bug out again after that, so I'm guessing it may have had something to do with the system having to decide which character card to give out. Before the change, every second PSP I bought I "lost connection to ME3 Multiplayer" and had to reconnect to see my purchased PSP.

So - thank you for fixing it (for me at least).

Sometimes the game now checks and you do get your pack - but sadly not always. Surely there's a way to make this check for outstanding purchases a bit better? I haven't come on here complaining as I've been stocking up on recruit/ veteran packs and didn't bother coming on here. Losing something like a Spectre pack 'hurts' when you know that Bioware has been aware of the problem for about 4 months!

Yep - yet another Spectre pack disappeared into the ether from me...

The good news is, it might be fixed some of the time. I had one of my regular 'lost server conn.' salutations during a purchase. Transaction was complete but was waiting for The Prize. Had to drop right out to the main menu but when I re-conn'd to multi, it popped open and gave me the goods. Made me feel so lucky I ran out to 7-11 to buy lottery tix.

In brief:
Received the Victory Pack but no Commendation Pack for the last Operation - I flag this up to EA Help and get a reply saying they've resolved and added a Commendation Pack. I check, and check over several days - nothing. I respond to EA Help and they ask if I have my settings are correct like feedback enabled. I point out I must have to have received the Victory Pack.

In a nutshell even after contacting EA and being told things are sorted they aren't. Lovely.
