It seems like there is some connectivity issues either on your router or modem as there was a 100% before it fully connected to our servers. This might be caused due to something blocking the signal such as firewalls, antivirus, router firewall and upnp.

Here are the steps I would recommend to prevent this from happening in the future:
- Disable antivirus
- Turn off user account control:
windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Turn-User-Account-Control-on-or-off
- Turn off windows firewall:


Says a lot about how technical the support people are if they advise you to do the above. Since the game launched i've lost all told about 400k credits across PC and XBL. I've always gotten BWP and XBL points items back later but never the freeby credits which suggets the way they deal with the transactions is different and doesn't mak $ so they won't fix this.

I used some bioware points that I had left over from Leviathan and the weapons pack to buy some SPs. It's really weird. At first I thought I lost a couple of bucks. Since if I used the in game credits it would show what I was purchasing right away. But using the bioware points it showed nothing. Once I completely exited the game, and re-entered the game, and going into multi-player, I ended up with spectre pack screen with all the missing gear from the bioware credits(3 SPs worth of gear). Did this twice. Definitely buggy, but it looks like I got the gear. But it sucks having to exit and come back in, and it really did ****** me off initially as it involved real money and I thought I lost it.

Played the heck out of the game when it first released and walked away from it because of these issues (and the SP ending). Cannot believe it has not been fixed after all this time. If anything it is worse. Contacted EA Support only to be asked if I'd cleared my temp files. I am so tired of this company.

9/10 games end on "disconnect from ea crap servers" and those that have not have STILL crashed before the game has saved the exp data and credits. If Electronic Ars/Bioware is refunding those credits ill settle to having lvl 3-5 revenant instead of course.

would love the MP if they made it work instead of making sorry excuses why their hamsterball of a server aint working.

2 Premium Spectre Pack and 1 Spectre Pack.It didn't show me any error message, it just took 640 of my Bioware Points and showed me a middle finger in return. >_<

EDIT: Now it gave me all three packs at once the moment i entered multiplayer mode. Seems like it was a late delivery. ^^'

I believe I've discovered one way of assuring that you always get your packs right off the bat. Some guy from a console (I use PC) posted a rather hilarious post a while ago, saying that he always got the stuff he wanted if he pressed the button for store (believe it was A), but didn't release for about 3 seconds, then did the same thing for chosing the pack and pressing purchase.

In my experience, however, the pack ALWAYS opened instantly, without any lag that usually accompanies this if you just go click-click-click to get your pack.

I lost in total about 3360 Bioware points (14 premium spectre packs) over the course of several weeks of buying points and packs. I think the back end must have been updated recently, because in the past the points would be deducted and the game would either hang indefinitely waiting for a server response, or go back to the store screen with nothing given.
I've been working with EA on this issue, and in recent weeks the store behaviour has changed. I still have 100% failure rate when buying a pack in-game (game hangs or points taken and nothing given). But at least now whenever I exit the game completely then run the game again, the packs are always given.
EA were never able to identify the issue, and upon seeing that I can now purchase reliably (albeit having to log-out and log back in again each time), they issued the points refunds.

I'm in Vietnam and connected to the Singapore store if that helps anyone

I'm afraid of using my remaining BioWare points, cause I might just lose those as well.
Me and my friend finally decided to buy BioWare points, and go all out on premium spectre packs. At first my friend didn't get any packs.. But then after a few games they appeared. So when I got my first pack but not my second.. I hoped it was just a matter of time or logging out and back in.

Sadly not.. It was last weekend, still haven't received my pack. I never had issues with credit purchases. I really hope this gets fixed.. And that we get a refund. I don't care if it's just the credits equaling the value of the points. Since at least I know those work.

3 premium packs, 1 spectre pack. Server hangs indefinitely after attempting to purchase and never recovers. I could be off on the numbers exactly.

Sad Hells is Sad. :( That's a lot of money that never got anywhere.

Credits lost: Who knows? Estimated 300k to 600k but haven't kept a log of each failure
Lost items: 2 premium spectre packs bought with BioWare points. Items lost from credits would be veteran packs, spectre packs and premium spectre packs.

This isn't happening that much anymore, but it one point it was pretty common. I even opened an EA chat session on the first PSP I lost with Bioware points, but of course that went nowhere.

Today i investet 10€ 960 BW points i buyed 4 Premium spectre packs on the first it worked it took pretty long and i i had to confirm via Origin ingame interface the other three just sucked up my BW points and i got nothing so i lost 720 BW points

bugs, instable servers and and a screwed up ending the contract with EA was nothing but a public suicede

Update: after a full PC restart i got the 3 packages but still unnessecary problems

Well, ever since the last few patches the store seems to be working properly... but I was never credited for all the packs I lost prior.

Yes... I would always check to make sure I didn't receive anything... sometimes I would after the game restart... but most of the times I didn't.

Current Total Loss till last patch which fixed the store:
17 Spectre Packs
4 Premium Spectre Packs
1 Jumbo Pack
Total Credit Lost: 1,449,000 credits.

Have e-mailed support staff as live chat or phone isn't available for me right now. Also tweeted about this exactly after it happened so I have an approximate timestamp. Well mad. I'd not care if it was in-game free money. It was the points I had left over from Leviathan.

I am annoyed with this. So far I have lost order numbers:

This equates to:

2 x Spectre Packs costing 160 Bioware Points
and
5 4 x Premium Spectre Packs

The game decided to redeem the premium spectre pack later on, so now just missing 1,280 points....

The online chat either tells me it is a known issue and to come back 25 hours later, but never state when they will do shen I don't get my BW points returned or the packs I paid for with my own money. I have half a thought of just launching BBB, corporate, and office of the president complaints, and just keep the pace till they resolve this issue.

I am never spending BW points on MP again. This is real money lost and they act like it's not a big problem.
