People complained when ME2 came out, and look at how many copies of that sold to justify ME3

I think Bioware is sitting pretty knowing the forum is full of empty threats

Not really, I mean when ME2 came out, the amount of complaining were because of the changes people weren't use too and because of some major bugs. DA2 is a much better example. A lot of people said ME3 was Bioware's last chance and it looks like ME3 blew that chance (Unless they do something about that ending). Sure Bioware will have an easy time selling DA3, just like ME3, because their both established franchises. The real test will be when Bioware decides to release a new ip

Yup. Canceled SWTOR subscription. Won't buy DA3 either.

DA2 - Fool me once, shame on you.

ME3 - Fool me twice, shame on me.

DA3 - Like hell I'd allow them to make a fool out of me a third time.

Always found BioWare to be overrated. I'm not anti BioWare but I'm not buying a game fr quite awhile.

Would you ever be able to forgive Bioware and buy multiplayer DLC or pre-ending DLC or even a completely new title?

No. I have a lot of impulse buys that turned out to be pretty damn good and a lot that turned out mediocre, but I won't spend money on a game that I know will be disappointing.

It depends on what now happens. If they try to sell us a new ending for $10, then definitely, entirely I'm anti-BioWare from now on, period.

Even the best of companies **** things up once in a while, so I'm giving them a pass on these endings for now. But if they continue the media campaign of telling us to shut up and be quiet about it and if they try to monetize their mistakes at the cost of their consumers, then yes I'[m going Anti-Bioware. But if they, ultimately say "yeah, sorry, we thought you'd appreciate that. We're sorry, and here's a fitting ending that makes sense," then I'll give them a mulligan.

Nope. I can't be mad at the guys who gave me 100 perfect hours of play and let me down for only 5 minutes. The reason we're here stating our minds and holding the line is because we really love Mass Effect and we know BioWare can fix the ending.

Hold the line.

I would have no confidence in BioWare's ability/willingness to produce quality content, so they would no longer be getting my money.

All these people who say they'll never buy another BW game again will be the first to pre-order the super-special DA3 mega-limited-edition and you know it. The fact is that apart from CD Project and Bioware, no one makes cinematic, atmospheric, story driven RPGs (The best type of games imho).

The point is that DA2 was not a bad game, it wasnt perfect either but it wasnt bad. it was still very much enjoyable. They tried something different then what they did with origin, it didnt work out well and oh well.

ME3 is the same thing. The entire game is awsome. The story sucks you in and you see the choices you make in reuniting the galaxy directly in real time packing out. Then you had the ending. it was not as people hoped it was going to be and frankly most dont understand the ending.

Does this make the entire game bad? ofcourse not. There for the hate against bioware right now is nothing but mainly (with exception of a few people) teens trying to sound cool.

No new/resolved ending = no more ME3 DLC for me I'd say.

I'd still consider new titles on the hope that they will learn from the mistake.

Nope. Not unless ME3 is fixed. And not with the "happy ending" strawman that the media likes to think people want.

Me, I just want coherency. For the end of a trilogy, where they SAID they would be answering everything... having more questions than answers is not acceptable.

And no, I'm not getting Dragon Age 3, collector's edition or otherwise.

Yeah, I don't like the endings, but if the developers add new, interesting content or make more games Mass Effect titles like Mass Effect 3, I would buy them.

I'm not anti-Bioware, but I will look at them as another Lionhead Studio and treat what they say the same as I would Peter Molyneux. Lots of promises, not as many fulfilled.

I feel betrayed, and if they don't change/add ending, I'm not gonna buy a dlc, that's for sure. And next BW game, I'm gonna wait until people say if it's good or bad.
But I'm not anti BW. They did awesome game I still play from time to time, back before they were part of EA.

This *nodnod*

Im not "anti-bioware", but there's no doubt the stupidity of this ending hurts them. With the ending "as-is" im done with Mass Effect titles. Future games from other franchises ill wait and see the response.

Ive always hated EA with a passion and prefer not to give them business.

I wouldn't go out of my way to bash them or anything. They would just become nothing to me if they don't do enough to make up for this ending. I won't waste anymore time on them if I think they are going to stop producing quality games.

No.

They are a company. If they deliver by producing stuff I like, I'll buy it. If not, I won't.

EA has a way of messing up great studios. With ME2 being a great game, I believed that EA didn't kill Bioware like they with with Westwood Studios and then promptly destroyed command and conquer . ME3 was great until the endings or lack of them, the whole trilogy is great until the last ten minutes. I put this on EA more than BioWare, but as a result I won't be anti, but the chances of buying a BioWare game, or any EA affiliated game is near 0%.
