IMO, Bioware games are still on the OK list, But there is going to be no more preorders, (unless preorders include some sort of added nuditiy then that will be considered) And I will at least allow 1 week to hear everyones opionons, not the canned "THIS GAME IS BEST" stuff either.

For me DLC for ME3 is going to be a no go... they may sucker me in for a LI DLC but im not going to get any more weapons or armor. The only way for anything byond a LI DLC is different endings.I wont even go for a Firewalker or Mako pack either. To me its more of a "Meh why should i bother, not going to help me for the ending"

I wouldn't go so far as to say that I'm "anti-Bioware", but I will have to seriously think about future Bioware purchases before making them now.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but you should have been before. If you simply accepted things on brand name before, you weren't paying attention to the real flaws of their products.

While I do hate the endings, IMO the rest of the game was great.

Having said that I would like SOMETHING to be done about the endings, otherwise I'll be wary of future games and want to make sure they have real endings and not "plenty of speculation for all" type endings before I would consider buying them. But I wouldn't be anti-Bioware by default.

I'm holding out until an official reply from Bioware before I make that call. Until then, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt.

Oh no, don't misunderstand me: I'll play their games (if they're good). I just swore they won't make money from me anymore.

Say they do nothing about the endings and just fart in their hands and blow it in your tear-drenched face.
Would you ever be able to forgive Bioware and buy multiplayer DLC or pre-ending DLC or even a completely new title?

At this stage? Yes.

If they don't remedy this, I will never buy another bioware product ever again. And I am ... was ... a massive Bioware fan. I don't think they've released a single mainstream game that I haven't purchased.

I don't take being betrayed and lied to lightly. Not only that, but if they do crap like this and get away with it, they'll just do it again and again. I can't trust them anymore, and I can't trust that they'll make quality products.

If they release free DLC for the ending that's free, I will completely forgive them and possibly respect them even more than I did previously. If they release paid DLC for the ending, I'll forgive them, but I won't forget this. Bioware won't be the same to me ever again.

I'm more insulted that they outright lied to us, and the way they are treating us right now about how we feel about the ending (assuming they aren't planning something to surprise us).

I'm not gonna be Anti-Bioware. I'm not gonna spend anytime ranting about them online or badmouthing them. If they continue to treat their fans like that, they are doing the best job themselves.

I will however not spend another cent on Bioware products, because I'm not gonna throw money into the maw of a company that first created my favourite RPG-Universe, only to kill it and almost any desire to ever play one of the games again.

Besides, if they messed up ME's ending so bad, I already fear what DA3 might turn out to be.

Years from now. maybe 4-5 years from now, I might start to give their games a look again.
I might even buy one, if it costs $10.-, because it is already years old.

No more pre-orders, no more collector's editions, no more buying every DLC and every book, comic or whatever that comes out.

No, not anti-Bioware (very much looking forward to DA3).
I find Mass Effect 3 to be an excellent game (peraphs even the best of the trilogy) until the very end: I just wanted to see all the choices made during these 3 games mean something :(

This restaurants service has been declining in recent years. I no longer enjoy dining here and will take my business elsewhere.

Which is almost a pradox considering that the continuous nature of the franchises has meant Bioware has had more and done more listening and response to fans than ever before, whereas in their single-shot games they simply gave you a product to accept or not.

It's almost as if you prefer single-stories to sereis that you and others subtly influence along the way.

Just curious, did you read my original post about why I'm unhappy with ME3? I know I didn't influence BW to change direction on how to handle roleplaying and dialog. And I'm pretty sure most fans didn't ask for that either.

Still using the "BW is a restaurant" scenario, it's like my favorite Chinese restaurant is slowly taking all of my favorite dishes off the menu, eventually there's not going to be anything I like to eat there anymore. So I stop coming to this place.

I won't be buying any DLC untill they fix the ending. Otherwise, what's the point? What would be the point of taking back Omega if I am going to condemn galaxy anyway? What would be the point of raising EMS when universe is screwed harder than ever?

I haven't seen another game where fans were so upset, as a ME fan since first game ... Bioware managed to push me away from what I hold so dear ... I wasn't looking for happy ending....i was looking for ending that mattered from what I did in all these games ... You Stupid Big Bioware!!!!

The ending made me go from being anti-bioware to being pro-bioware. It's good to see the "fans" who don't give a damn about the game being a proper RPG with choice & consequence and non-linearity be smacked with a good dose of reality because they can't ride off into the sunset with their virtual waifu/manfus.

Collectively, you and the fans did. In your reviews, in the forum feedback, and in how you play the game (and yes, the yget statistics). This is especially apparent in the evolving treatment of companions.

Except, if we're going to be honest, they aren't taking things off the menu, are they? They're adding new dishes, parts of which you don't like.

If you want an order of Dragon Age Origins, it still exists.

If they do nothing, if they leave it the way it is, I'll be selling my copies of ME2 and ME3 back to gamestop and will never touch anything ever made by Bioware ever again. I was really excited about DA3 (I actually really enjoyed DA2) but I will not be buying it until it's been out at least a week or two and I can see what people are saying and even then I probably wont buy it because I wont want to give bioware any more of my money. If they leave these endings as is I will not be buying dlc's (as I would have sold my games back).

I play WoW and alot of my friends/guildmates have started playing Swotr and asked me to come play with them. I was going to but now, hell no.

Yes, I'm mad enough at this point to be anti-Bioware. Especially if they don't fix the endings, and here's why:

has nothing to do with that
If shep dies im ok with that
what im NOT ok with is HOW he/she dies and the fact no matter what option you take the rest of the Galaxy is boned
in Deus Ex HR my 2 fav endings were the Singulartiy and let the world decide so people dieing isnt what bugs me
if its done RIGHT

I will admit to be disappointed with Bioware for the ending to ME 3 and DA 2, but I think there are more important things in life to be mad about than this.

Yeah, that was slap in the face. Either they are completely out of touch with their fan base or they did it with intent, either way I can't trust them anymore. I'm not going to emotionally invest in a game or a series knowing that they think it's OK to go all Deus Ex Machina and betray the spirit and tone of the entire thing at the end and retroactively render utterly insignificant all things the character has ever done. I am done with them.

People complained when ME2 came out, and look at how many copies of that sold to justify ME3

I think Bioware is sitting pretty knowing the forum is full of empty threats

If the sudden drop in Swtor subscriptions and $47 retail says anything, its that these threats aren't empty.
