After reflection the answer for me is mixed.  Until Gaider written games let me so completely down no.  However if they don't fix this I will be done with Casey Hudson led projects and with Mac Walters written ones though.  I hope they fix this.

I AM done with bioware for sure, i'm a total sucker for mass effect so i will buy the ending DLC if it gets released. Then it's goodbye

Some years ago, I quit reading mainstream comics because of what the creators were doing to the characters.

If publishers are willing to allow self-proclaimed artists to ruin their franchises in the name of art, at the expense of fans, just to feed their own egos then I'll be sad but find other products to entertain me.

Maybe I'm naive, but I'd be surprised if they actually charged people for the "patch" to fix their ending.

If I'm wrong and they actually DO charge, the fallout would be funny.

I don't know, there's lots of speculation on my end on how it will turn out.

Not really anti-bioware, but certainly don't have much motivation to be interested in any future Mass Effect releases with the ending we got, and I'll certainly avoid pre-ordering anything and wait a few weeks for reactions before checking out any future Bioware games.

Not anti-bioware, but my confidence in the brand as a consumer has definitely taken a...significant downturn.

I was a hardcore Bioware fan since Neverwinter Nights.  The problem, I suppose, is that people like me had put them on a pedestal and thought that they could do no wrong.  Dragon Age II was kinda mediocre, but the hatred was blown out of proportion.

Mass Effect 3 is the greatest game that I have ever played in my life.  All the way from the beginning, to Shepard speaking to each of his squadmates down on Earth, it was perfect.

But SOMEHOW, everything AFTER that is complete and utter ****.

I didn't like their direction with DA II, but I forgave them and thought that Mass Effect 3 would be handled better.

If they don't fix the ending, I promise you I am DONE with Bioware forever, and they won't get one cent from me unless it's ending DLC.

I have a brand new poll.

I have never really favored any specific franchise or company that make games. That is until Mass Effect found it's way on my console. I loved the story, characters, and gameplay just as any of you would have. I have dumped a few hundred dollars and an unknown number of hours into the series, even going so far as reading many different fanfics based in the same universe. Playing through ME3 was excellent to say the least until I got to the ending. At that point, I was like "Well this was my first playthrough. Bioware likely has a better ending waiting for me if I do NG+ or prepare better" until I finally opened the guide book I previously refused to open to avoid spoilers. The result from reading left me awe struck as I went to youtube and several other sites to confirm the other endings. I love the Mass Effect series even though Bioware dropped the ball so badly. I will continue to love the series but Bioware is dead to me unless they respond to us as to how they could make that ending.

If they don't fix it, I won't buy anything from Bioware again. If they do fix it, I lost a lot of trust in them. I probably won't be preordering anything again. I will wait for player reviews and decide where to spend my money carefully.

It take a lot of energy to be anti-something. If they don't release an ending DLC or bring the story to some kind of logical conclusion, then I'll have a different attitude towards the company. I will definitely move them from "Pre-order upon hearing about game" list of game companies, of which only Bioware and Atlus sit to "Read reviews, listen what other people are saying, is there anything else that might be vaguely more interesting." list.

Half of their fanbase rests on how they decide to handle this.

I'm not immature enough to stop buying games for the sake of stop buying games. Especially when every game they've made I have enjoyed.

In fact I hope BioWare moves on to a new IP, it'll be exciting to see what they can do without the restraints of an existing lore.

I'm not sure that I'll vow to never buy another Bioware product, but I'm definitely going to be a lot more cautious about whether I choose to give them my money in future.

I've pre-ordered the deluxe editions of 4 of their games in recent years (DA1 and 2, SWTOR and ME3) but I can't see myself pre-ordering even a standard copy of another game, not even DA3, unless they do something pretty big to make up for the ME3 debacle - first the faces and then the ending.

They are on very thin ice... Infact I usually don't make a big deal about things or nitpick, so even past greivenses like DA2 and Arrival were not enough to anger me into an Anti-Bioware state, but what they have done with ME3 is unforgivable and they have ONE chance to redeem themselves where I can at least look at ME and not feel depressed. If they fail to do so... well, then they've lost a very loyal fan.

It's not immature to no longer purchase products, from a company that can no longer deliver the quality products you seek... That's actually being a smart consumer.  That said, according to the title this is about upset fans, and their plans for the future.. So considering this isn't applicable to you, there should be no reason for you to reply. :wizard:

I will try my best not to bash Bioware as they did make Mass Effect 1 & 2. Two of the best games of all time. Unfortunately, they ruined both with ME3's ending. I will not spend another cent on anything this company makes or even download free DLC. I will now tell people to stay away from all things Mass Effect as I can't recommend someone spend hundreds of hours and possibly dollars that only culminates in the player wondering why they allowed themselves to care about the series in the first place. I honestly feel that Bioware needs to tell us they will fix the ending. If they don't I see the company's profits reducing by at least 50% over the next couple years. This ending could kil their company...it has already killed their most eu successful franchise.

As things stand now, I don't see any point in purchasing anything. Pre-ending-DLC? Why? Just to spend more time saving people who are screwed in the end anyways? Multiplayer? Seriously?

Screw this, I'm goin' home. :(

I don't think I will be purchasing anything produced by Bioware again, or at the very least, waiting until it has been out for a bit (or in the bargain bin). I played the beta for SW:TOR and found it to be a complete joke (for an MMO). I should have taken that as a hint that ME3 would be messed up as well. Live and learn, and do what I can to make sure my friends don't make the same mistake I did.

To the original question (Is anyone mad enough to be anti-Bioware from now on?), no.

There are certain things in life that I can be "anti"-thatThingCompanyOrIdea, things I feel strongly about, but this (Bioware, Mass Effect, etc) isn't one of them.
