As things stand now, I don't see any point in purchasing anything. Pre-ending-DLC? Why? Just to spend more time saving people who are screwed in the end anyways? Multiplayer? Seriously?

Screw this, I'm goin' home. :(

I think you mean, "I should go."

But as to the question in the topic...yes, I'm mad enough to be anti-Bioware. The bad endings I could have dealt with, if they hadn't lied to their customer base about them prior to the release.

yes you see this is the problem.  if they had told the truth I would not be out $80.  Bioware want's me to stop demmanding a new ending then they need to let me return my game for a full refund.

I'm in the odd group that like the endings (get's behind a chest high wall). I think the writing got sloppy at the end leaving some big holes. ME2 left me feeling compelled by the quality of story to get every DLC and support the project. ME3's end left me apathetic so I'll take the DLC on a case by case basis.

I am not mad at Bioware, I dont even hate the ending, I just consider it to be "unfulfilling"... However, now I dont have to feel guilty any more for cancelling my SWTOR sub and pirating Dragon Age 3 in the future.

A lot of people are and I think it's childish.  It's like if my neighbor's cat attacked me and I had to go to the hospital for stiches, I wouldn't kill my cat because I suddenly hate cats.  Mass Effect 3 has nothing to do with Dragon Age, SWtOR, or any other Bioware game, same as my neighbor's cat's actions have nothing to do with my cat's actions.

And to anyone that finds my analogy stupid or silly, that's how I feel about hating all Bioware games because you didn't like ONE game done by a small portion of their entire company.

Not entirely, but I will never play another ME game unless they change the ending, because the current ones effectively destroy everything the player ever did, and destroy the universe.

I won't buy from a company who doesn't respect their customers. Bioware continues to do this, then they don't get my money. It's really not that hard.

Companies only understand when they lose money.

You dont get it do you? People don't general hate Bioware, they hate being hurt, disappointed, discriminated against. People become afraid that next Bioware product will do the same thing to them Mass Effect did, hence their altitude towards bioware.

The thing is, I really enjoyed the game as a whole. The ending soured that enjoyment a bit but overall I still rate the game as a package of good fun and great moments, wrapped in a fantaistic musical experience, ending with a poo filled baked alaska for dessert.

Say they do nothing about the endings and just fart in their hands and blow it in your tear-drenched face.
Would you ever be able to forgive Bioware and buy multiplayer DLC or pre-ending DLC or even a completely new title?

As it is now, the only thing I will consider buying is a "revised ending" DLC, and if I have to spend money to get an ending that should have come with the game? That's my last purchase from EA/Bioware.

I'm not advocating a behavior pattern for everyone else, as they have the right to self-determinate. However, that's MY plan, as I intend to vote with my wallet. The irony of all this is, I loved Bioware's work to this juncture. I sometimes feel I'm one of twelve people that really deeply enjoyed Dragon Age 2 sometimes.

But this... ending the trilogy like this? Straw, that was the last. Please fix.

Yeah, I don't know what their next game is going to be - especially since EA keeps buying unrelated studios and renaming them "Bioware" - but I know I won't be falling for the pre-release hype and preordering.

I have loved bioware games since I played MDK 2. I've played them all. But after you released that horribly rushed DA2 and now defecated on the greatest game series of all time, I think it's just EA wearing a Bioware mask now. You're just EAware.

No, not because of 1 game. Hell even the game was awsome, just the ending was a bit different then expected. not bad, just different.

Im not going to be anti bioware because of that. You have to ask yourself though, all those saying there mad enough over the ending to be anti bioware...were they true fans in the first place? I dont think they are. Lot of big mouths on this forum after all

Personally I never felt anger...just dissappointment. And no while I wouldn't neccessarily write BioWare off entirely, I certianly wouldn't be as compelled to buy one of their games site unseen at this point. I would approach with more caution.

Yep.. every RPG EA publishes from now on is going to be BioWare regardless of which dev house makes it, because BioWare is literally their RPG division.

I wonder if Ea will change the names of the studios if this goes on long enough.

I started a Poll that inquires how the ME3 end will affect people's TOR accounts.  I'm curious to see feedback on this. Anecdotally, a lot of people supposedly have cancelled their TOR accounts in anger. Is it true?

even if a thousand people cancel because they feel this justifies there hatred, then it wont really be a big thing. People cancel there MMO accounts all the time, based on various reasons.

I think that Mass Effect 3 is a good game overall. I like the game play (I'm still having a lot of fun with the multiplayer), the soundtrack, and there were several moments that hit an emotional chord (e.g., Mordin, Thane, Anderson and Shepard looking at the sky, etc.). The last part of the ending was a bit of a disappointment, but despite those last few minutes, I still really enjoy the game.

I vowed not to after DA2.

The allure of ME3 broke that.

Then ME3 broke my heart. What's to say..
