My problem started when my purchase of a Veteran's Pack was interrupted JUST as the transaction went through (I saw the box come up, but right before it showed me what I unlocked in the box I was punted out of the game). After that incident EVERY ATTEMPT to buy either a Veterans Pack or a Spectre pack resulted in a failure and loss of credits (problem detailed in a previous post here). I can buy a Recruit Pack, but that's about it.
I've tried repairing my install and I've tried reinstalling the game entirely, neither help. This appears to be an account issue of some sort. I don't mind the 80k credits I've lost to this particular bug, but it's annoying that I can no longer unlock any weapons or classes because of it.
And the reason why I'm asking here instead of sticking with EA support is because the first response asked me to provide the order number of when I purchased Bioware points (despite specifically telling them I didn't use Bioware points, I used in-game credits) and the second response told me to clear my browser's cache (which I did, didn't help, no surprise) despite, y'know, this being an in-game problem.
Seriously, what the hell?
Edit: Hallelujah, the problem finally resolved itself. Still down 80k credits, but at this point I really don't care. Between Origin and Bioware's first foray into multiplayer mode there are just way too many experimental variables. Next time kidnap someone from an affiliated EA studio, Bioware; preferably one with lots of multiplayer experience
