Think I would have preferred seeing little blue children in ME3

I think that a lot of people might have prefered that sort of ending.

or stomached the ending better if the last scene was Liara walking out of the ship with your child...not that it would have made any more sense then anything else....:?

*shrugs* blue children? Why not - if they're optional and not mandatory for Liara's romance, I fully support this.
However, in that case I also demand human children for Ashley, Miranda, Jack, Jacob and Kaidan B)

Miranda: she's sterile.
Jacob: He gets children... But not with femshep:lol:.

Arguably Liara's romance plotline is the most developed, but where does that say payoff in regards to sticking with her through 3 games? Just like restarting a game with all your stats as a payoff, I wanted the LI game element to have some sort of payoff, I mean, being faithful is important right?

Liara has unique periods of dialogue if you romance her in all 3 and remain faithful. Particularly noticeable in the final scenes where she says 'I love you' as opposed to a more generic goodbye. It's actually very touching.

Also, there is a scene near the beginning where she calls you a flatterer which you can only get by remaining faithful I believe. annoying LotSB is bugged so she doesn't recognise it as she should.

I don't know what you mean by 'payoff' though?

Unique dialogue and possibly different conclusions to the romance, I'm guessing.

Like the OP said, this is a video game that was (supposedly) sensitive to player choices.  Cheating on someone vs. staying loyal in ME2 should be a fairly significant choice, and it would be nice to have the content reflect that more dramatically.  Every one of us has probably done something in an RPG that we would never consider IRL just to see how it affects the story or dialogue.  And if you haven't, you're sort of missing the point of an RPG.

I play games just like the way I live in real life. No cheating:whistle:. I don't love someone because of their looks it's the whole combination of their characters, their actions, the way they treat me and their looks...And Liara doesn't give me a reason to cheat too. The reward are more scenes, special dialogs, and the way Ali Hillis deliver it with passion, love, humor. Perfect for me :D

She says it if you just start a new ME3 game without importing from ME2, also.

So there isn't any real incentive to stay faithful through all 3 games?...... eh, going back and shagging Miranda then

Such a jerk, just because there are no 'perks' for staying loyal doesn't mean you should cheat...

But I play it like I would in real life, I stay loyal, while others are just jerks.

As I say: If you can't stay loyal to someone you don't deserve them, thus you don't deserve Liara jerk.

Jeez..... get a life? lol, it's a game, fan your flames of video game passion by stepping away from the game system

I'm treating this as if it were a video game feature, why don't you?

Uh huh! :o

Game or not cheating is still stupid and wrong, if you can easily cheat in a game who knows what may happen >.>

But yes I judged you as you just made yourself look like a jerk. At least to me ^_^

Wow... Just... Wow.... Do people really have no lives?
It's a FRIGGIN' GAME! *sigh*
The short answer is "Not a damn thing!" Since You get mostly the same from picking up Liara as a brand new LI in ME3 if ye haven't romanced her at all in the earlier 2...

I guess some people have no real life commitments seeing as they are being so defensive and staying true to a gamecharacter... My guess is that most RL partners wouldn't really like You making such a strong commitment to a made up loveinterest in a game...
Even going as far as namecalling for people who wouldn't stay true to that particular love interest of theirs (a tad sick really imho, getting that infatuated in a animated figure)!!!

Geeesh....

Well I now understand why people think gamers are strange... Glad I'm not THAT type of gamer, I can seperate RL from the games, like so many here seem unable to...

(Awaits the flaming from said folks who will take offense, proving me right)

Keep enjoying the games! I do ;)

... right. You're making assumptions about people's real life based on what they do in the game.

Nope. She doesn't say the L-word it if you start a new romance with her in ME3.
