I'm getting an odd glitch where the power bar icons can not be clicked to use a power, also I can't drag any of the powers to a hotkey.  The powers I already have hotkeyed work fine when I press the number of them, but I can't click any ally or self powers to use.   I get the power bar back when I reload, but I lose it again during the same area.  Anyone have a fix for this?

I dunno if this helps , but try to delete all configuration setting you can find in the directory , then do Origin / Repair game , start the game and set up everything again, but your gameplay and so on should not be changed.

no luck on the config files, although some of my settings stayed even after deleting so some may be stored on server or there are backups. meh this isnt quite a game break, but it makes playing on higher dificulty kinda suck

I'm getting the same issue intermittently, however, in my case, it still seems to allow me to drag the squadmate's power to the quick bar when this happens and I can just hit the hotkey.  This doesn't really help a great deal when I've already got multiple powers mapped but at least it gets me through combat.

Not quite sure what's causing the issue and as soon as I drop combat, the problem resolves itself and I can click sqaudmate powers again.  At least, until the next time the issue crops up...

I'm getting this problem as well. I can't find consistent circumstances under which it comes on. It's obviously very frustrating because it makes you extremely vulnerable. It seems to randomly resolve itself - often when I transition into a new area.

i have the same issue but its not like you guys but sometimes when i try to click a power or gun to switch to it doesnt switch or use the power so i have to click it again to work is there any known fix for that...

I've had this happen to me too, though I've found that pressing the left and right mouse buttons at the same time once or twice usually fixes it. Not sure if this is helpfull or not

yep, seems cinematics or stuff thats scripted??? (ie reaper AA gun firing) fixes it. Also since had issues where guns don't work either in the hotbar (mouse wheel still works to select weapons). Will have to try the mouse buttons if I do another playthrough.

This has happened for me a few times as well. Fortunately the hotkeys still work, but it's still rather frustrating at times. It goes normal when I win the battle at hand or reload a save.

Quick info: I've disabled Origins in game and the problem has presented itself just once during a solid session of 4 hours of gaming. So, there must be some kind of link between the two (I will disinstall the piece of crap from my PC as soon as I've finished ME3: long life to Steam).

Btw, many thanks to Ghostie88: the "double click" solution solves the problem and works like a wonder.
